I've been a patron for 3 years now. I'm currently moving to Durango and my Destiny needed to be spayed. She currently had stopped bleeding a few days prior to her surgery and I didn't think everything would go well. To my pleasure, they approved her for her surgery and took the greatest of care for her. I am forever grateful for their services and the lovely staff that they have.

We used Francis vet for our pets for well over 25 years. The last time we were there was 2018. Now our dog needs uthenized due to age and failed health but because we have not been there since, the vet will not perform the service. Shame on them. Apparently a long term client means nothing to the current owner's of Francis vet hospital.
Fortunately we were able to find highly professional, compassionate care for our dog of nearly 16 years at Table Mountain Vet Clinic. They come with high regards.

I took my cat in for blood work because we changed her diet to an all-wet diet per the vet's recommendation. Her blood work 5 months previous was normal, and then when we took her in again for blood work and a checkup due, the doctor came back and said she has stage 2 kidney disease and hyperthyroid. My cat has had no change in weight or behavior, so I found this odd. Her test results were sent to me, and there were multiple typos and errors in the numbers. The doctor was also quick to prescribe her thyroid medication when I did not say I wanted to go through with treatment.

I really love this place. Everyone is nice, the vet I spoke with took time to explain my cat's conditions in great detail and they're all knowledgeable. You can tell they love animals. The prices are fair - and I came from another vet for a second opinion and quote for my cats teeth - Francis vet sounded so much more sure about the protocols AND they quoted much less than my original vet (who I was moving on from regardless of their high prices). I'll be keeping Francis Vet as our vet from now on!

I cannot say enough positive things about every single person at Francis. I don't have kids so my dogs are my kids. I am very involved in their health and enjoy educating myself as much as possible on how to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. It is important to me that someone takes their health and well-being as seriously as I do. Dr. Burger is phenomenal. She never rushes, is very thorough and makes you feel involved in the process. She gets on the floor with my pup and makes sure she is as comfortable as possible. She doesn't get upset when I question common practices and

Dr. Burger and her team are wonderful. Charlie, our German Shepherd, isn't always an easy patient. But Dr. Burger and all of the vet techs meet him with grace and professionalism. They take their time and listen to all of our concerns. They make themselves available to you in and outside of the hospital. The hospital is small and has a small town feel despite being in the metro area which is great. Choosing a vet is a big decision and shouldn't be taken lightly. I am really glad I chose Francis Vet Hospital!!

I just went to have our little dog, Emmy's check up. It looks like Dr. Francis has retired, and Dr. Burger is the new vet. She is very professional, and took her time with Emmy. She explained everything she was doing, then gave Emmy a treat after her shots. I'm really pleased with the new vet. Also, Chris at the front desk was super nice!! Highly recommend!!!

We really like this vet. When we adopted our second cat, Pip, this vet was one of the doctors that offered a free checkup! Pip got a clean bill of health.
Later that year he got attacked by what we believe was a bobcat, and shortly after had a growing bump on his side. We brought him in and Dr. Francis knew right away what was going on. She drained what was a growing absess on his side and gave him an antibiotic shot and we were on our way. She even let us come back a couple days later for a free check just to make sure everything was ok after the drain healed early. We will continue to

Great experience! We arrived at our appointment time and were in to see the Vet with in a couple minutes. I didn't feel like we were being pushed through to get to the next appointment. Dr Francis took time to answer all my questions and address all the issues we had. I am very happy to have found Dr Francis.

Absolutely disgusted by how unfriendly and rude this so called animal loving vet was with my husband and I and our dog. She jammed the needle into our LITTLE dogs neck and made zero attempt to care about her at all.. seemed extremely disgruntled during the entire visit. .most vets ask how the dog is doing and make some attempt to gain trust with a playful attitude. ..not Dr. Francis!! Must need a vacation or to retire!! Not the type of person or atmosphere that our sweet little pup should ever have to deal with again! Spreading the word to help others avoid this type of treatment when going to

I took my puppy here to get fixed, mostly because this is the vet the shelter sent me to. NEVER AGAIN! The staff did not communicate very well for drop off and when I went back to pick up I was sitting in the lobby for about 15 mins before someone came out, then it was just rush, rush, rush, like the only goal was to get us out of the way. My little girl has stiches of course that looked horrid and two days later ended up oozing everywhere. That resulted in another vet visit somewhere else. I don't recommend this place for anyone!!!!!!

I 100% recommend this veterinary office!
I came across Dr Mona Fasth when I opted to have my puppy's ears cropped. She had never worked on this breed's ears before, and she did a beautiful job! And I really appreciated that she paid attention to the pictures and verbal description of what I wanted. I was nervous with my decision, but I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.
I had been searching for a new permanent vet as well, and we found her. Someone is always willing to answer questions, the staff always follows up with me (if the dogs have been sick/injured), and

Francis veterinary hospital is where you should go if you love your pet. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, the staff is friendly and kind, and your pet will get first-class care!
The facility itself is large, clean, and friendly- not sterile like many vets can be. They have kennels in the back to board your companion if you're going out on a trip (don't worry, there's a yard too for them to get some fresh air).
They are more than capable of handling any problem your pet may have, big or small. They will also occasionally get a rescue pet dropped off, so if you're looking
