We are changing common expectations with a higher level of care. In health, sickness, and times of crisis, we have countless strengths. We use lifecycle planning, wellness care, quality diets and modern technology, in addition to the usual preventive and curative medicine, to provide a more holistic approach.
We offer boarding for birds, small mammals, reptiles and amphibians at our scenic Golden, Colorado location. While at Camp GoldenView, pets are lavished with attention while staying in our clean, stimulating and safe facility. We offer delicious, healthy cuisine with accompanying fresh fruits and vegetables (when appropriate).
2-3 day supply of pets own food(s) - if possible vacuum seal dry foods and date to preserve freshness. Always remember that any first aid administered to your pet should be followed by immediate veterinary care. First aid care is not a substitute for veterinary care, but it may save your pet's life until it receives veterinary treatment.

To encourage social distancing, it is our preference that you park your vehicle in our lot and call to let us know you are here for your pet's visit. We will come to get your pet from your vehicle and bring your pet inside while you continue to wait outside. Everything was great! It's so hard to find an avian vet, and even harder to find one you really like. And this is exactly what I found at GoldenView! The vet had a great "bedside" manner - treated both my bird and me very warmly and professionally. She took the time to answer all my (many!) questions, and did a thorough exam. I am so happy to have found such a great local resource.

We've had great experiences with both of our dogs in the past two years that we've been going here. All of the staff are friendly and so sweet with our dogs. We usually see Dr. Matt, but both Dr. Matt and Dr. Kris have been responsive and communicative regarding our dogs' care and helpful in filing claims with our pet insurance company. Compared to other vets we've been to, the vibe is warm, clean and professional yet relaxed.

Chose this as our primary vet because of the location but couldn't be happier! They are conscious of COVID but will let one person enter with the pet, which is helpful. Unlike the emergency care we went to that ordered an excessive battery of tests, this vet seemed to balance common sense with good medical advise. We enjoyed their personal touches with a welcome card and their accessibility over telephone for follow up questions. Thank you for helping keep our cat healthy and happy!
