Emerald Pediatric Dentistry began as a joint vision shared between two Columbia University College of Dental Medicine graduates, Dr. Minh Dau and Dr. Raymond Park. We believe that every child is unique and should get personalized dental care in a kid-friendly environment, along with the inspiration and education needed to maintain a lifetime of great dental health.
We offer a wide range of services, from preventive (cleanings) and restorative (crowns and fillings). For more intensive cases, we offer sedation and respond to emergencies within 24 hours. Dr. Raymond Park received his bachelor in science from University of Wisconsin - Madison. After having a great midwest college experience, Dr. Park then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious, ivy league Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. It was there that he discovered his passion caring for children while volunteering at 'Give Kids a Smile' and 'Head Start Daycare Program'.
Pediatric dentistry is the specialty of dentistry that focuses on the oral health of young people. After completing a 4-year dental school, 2 to 3 additional years of rigorous training are required to become a pediatric dentist. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepares pediatric dentists to meet the needs of infant, children, and adolescents, including persons with special health care needs.

Before going into the seats, told the receptionist/assistant that the other patient is coughing with phlegmy cough without her mask on. Her sister is getting her teeth cleaned and she's next to her sister. I told them I don't feel safe. Please at least Lysol the air. We're placed next to them. I am very afraid of catching covid since my 2-year-old daughter is not vaccinated.
The assistant gave the girl a mask and asked her to put her mask on. And wiped down the chair. No wall or plexiglass is separating the patients.

I just switched my last child (3/3). I am a busy single mom and find it hard to schedule these visits. Today I called to see if they could take in my child last min. & THEY DID!
The ladies in the front are kind and friendly. They’re also so incredibly patient with my fussy and nervous kids. The place in clean, they always have a movie going to entertain the little and not so little ones. And there has never been a wait time, we’ve come early or a little late and they still see us right away!
Thank you all, especially the ladies upfront. I’m so blessed we found this spot!

We had an awful first experience here. The front desk staff was nice, but after that, it was all down hill. The hygienist seemed rushed and impatient as she was working with my 6-year-old. She didn't explain anything that she was doing (x-rays, cleaning, flossing, what it might feel like, let me know if this hurts, etc.). Her tone of voice got firm and she seemed frustrated that my son had a hard time following her directions because he was nervous. She then directed him to go to the dentist chair around the corner without physically showing him where it was.

I had an appointment today at 12:30pm for two boys. I got there around 12:15pm, however, the clinic was empty and there’s a sign hanging on the front door saying they will be back at 1pm. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and knocked on their door just incase the sign was a mistake, but to no avail. There was another family that also had the same schedule. I went to my car to try calling and at this time my two boys is getting fuzzy.. Mind you I received a reminder 2 hours prior.

The doctors took great care of my kids. What warms my heart is the kids LOVE going to the dentist now. I think it's because the doctors here make sure my kids are emotionally comfortable first before they perform any procedure, no matter how minor. I will continue to bring my kids there as long as Dr. Park and Dr. Dau are there. 5 stars!

My daughter recently had dental work while asleep very early in morning which was scary for me but went well because of how well my daughter was treated from the beginning to the end. The front desk lady was very nice . After getting the dental work, we were put in a recovery room. After not being in the recovery room for that long a very sweet young lady came by to check on us , I don’t remember her name, she was very short and had a lovely smile.
