Chiropractic treatment could offer the solution if chronic pain is one of your PTSD symptoms. Manual manipulation of the spine and other joints in the body have been around for a long time. Ancient writings from China and Greece dating between 2700 B.C. and 1500 B.C. mention spinal manipulation and the maneuvering of the lower extremities to ease low back pain.
Dr. Kyle P. Moran is a board certified chiropractic physician, the clinical director and owner of Back In Action. He has been practicing chiropractic with an emphasis on sports and athletics at Back In Action since 2005. Dr. Moran received a bachelor of science degree in 2000 and his doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003, both from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.
Congratulations to all of our massage therapists. The Back In Action Massage Therapy team has been voted "Best In Richmond" every year since 2012! Each therapist is highly skilled and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques. All Back In Action therapists work closely with the doctors. Renee graduated from the massage certification program at American Spirit Institute, Williamsburg, in 1996.
Based on your motivation for coming to Back In Action - pain, prevention /wellness or performance - your treatment plan and choices will vary. It is our goal is to get you back in action quickly, affordably and with excellent customer service. Initial visits for chiropractic care, massage or acupuncture are all approximately 1-2 hours.
If you are a chiropractic client, just like at any other doctor's office, a complete history and examination will be performed. From reflexes to ranges of motion as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations will take place. The exam takes about an hour. Often, X-rays are taken and developed at the time of the exam, to better identify your issue.

I had chronic low back and leg pain for years. Seeing Dr. Moran 1 to 2 times per month allows me to live pain free and enjoy a wide range of activities from golf to walking 4 miles 5 plus times a week!

The chiropractor/Owner did a wonderful job, but I am hesitant to come back due to the fact how uncomfortable the Reception made me. He even forgot to send my paperwork to my insurance. I thought it was a fluke, but I had also been booked on someone else's appointment slot my first time in. I am afraid it may be a reoccurring thing with their reception.

Kyle is a friend and i am a patient of his. People can be hesitant to work with friends, but the patient client relationship between Kyle and I has been professional and curteous. I have been a regular patient of Dr. Moran for several years and throughout my two pregnancies. I went back today after 3 years since working from home has given me a lot of back and neck issues. Dr. Moran provided excellent care as always. My back and neck feels brand new. He listened to my concerns and gave me extremely good advice on nutrition. Looking forward to continued visits.

Our entire office sees the Doc several times a week! We LOVE him! Also, his mumma works the front desk and she is a peach too :) Wonderful folks and we always leave feeling great!!!

Dr. Moran and his staff are top notch, and the services they provide are outstanding. He truly cares about his patients and their wellbeing. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a new chiropractor or are a new patient. Their massage therapists (Terrie Spell especially) are amazing too!!

I highly recommend Back in Action health resource center. I had very bad pain in my upper neck. I saw Terry for a fascia massage. She was able to release the tension in my neck. She is absolutely amazing. I had a great experience there and my husband continues to have great results from Dr. Moran. Also great location for parking.

I have had chronic neck pain for many years and have tried acupuncture, chiropractors, massage, diet, herbs, etc. and nothing worked for very long.
