Hampco was established as consulting engineers in 1988 following the oil price crash of 1986. Customers were not only having to outsource but also sought innovative ways of improving operational efficiencies. For Hampco this ranged from minor piping and structural modifications through to helping develop new technology such as Surface BOP drilling.
Hampco's core business is engineering and the development of practical hardware solutions for the offshore energy industry but the principles apply to any industry. Our design team comprises engineers from both the practical operations and the detailed equipment design ends of the business.

MARINE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (full time) in Brookshire, TX: Perform specialized engineering design & modeling, concept and detail structural design for marine equipment, machinery and structures of Drillship, Jack-Up rigs, FPSO, Semi-Submersibles, Ships; Review project specifications, apply engineering concepts, prepare, develop & update design plans, computer layouts, detailed drawings & schematics; conduct analytical, operational or performance studies; prepare design schedules & perform and support design; prepare technical reports provide design recommendations & take charge of quality & progress of marine structural engineering projects.
