Dr. Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 1980, and spent seven years as a Biology teacher. When she decided on a career in dentistry, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994. She spent her first year as an associate in a private dental practice in Mesquite, Texas.

I needed to have a bonded filling replaced after it popped off during a cleaning at an annual visit to the periodontist. Since his office was not equipped to replace it, I immediately called Dr. Cheryl Smith's office and got an appointment. My scheduled time was at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Traffic was light, and I arrived shortly after 3 p.m. Within a few minutes after I arrived, I was taken back and prepped for the procedure. I was walking out of the office less than 10 minutes after my originally scheduled time to arrive with a new bonded filling—no pain, no problems.

It doesn't get any better than Dr. Cheryl & her staff. Such a great team! It makes you feel so relaxed. The office is really fun too with the vintage vibe & decor. Really just lovely, pretty things to look at. They are also doing a top notch job in the way they are dealing with Covid. I'm impressed by this because frankly, I have seen a lot of dentists. In my experience many of them really don't consider your medical issues & risk. They just list medications & history. Cheryl & Mike have put a system in place whereby you don't contact any other people besides staff.

I went to Dr. Smith for about 10 years. Went to her faithfully and thought she was doing a decent job but boy was I wrong! Went back to a dentist that I had gone to years ago and it was discovered that I needed 18k done in dental care! I needed to have lots of work done on teeth that Dr. Smith had already supposedly fixed. Today I have dentures… that are a pain in the behind. She has a great personality BUT unfortunately she's not a good dentist. Her practice seemed to really go downhill once her husband started working there. I have SEVERAL family members who went to her and now they need

I've been to quite a few dentists and Dr. Smith is by FAR the best I've ever known. She is exceptionally professional and takes the time to understand your situation and will give you the options that will fit within your budget. I've been coming to her for my dental needs for almost nine years now (I think) and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anybody!

I highly recommend Dr. Smith. I’ve been going to her since I was 11 and now I take my kids. She takes such great care of my little ones, puts them to ease, and explains everything she’s doing. She never does any procedure that’s unnecessary. It’s worth the 30ish-minute drive for us to know that we’re getting the best care.

I love Dr. Cheryl Smith and her staff! Going to the dentist is always hard but Dr. Smith puts you at ease and is very comforting. Her staff is great too. They have Always been friendly and greet me with s smile. Dr. Smiths husband is her business manager and he is just as wonderful as she is. I highly recommend Dr. Cheryl Smith and her entire office staff to everyone.

I have personally known Dr. Cheryl for a number of years being a family friend. I have been seeing her as my dentist for about 5 years now. Dr. Cheryl is an excellent dentist. She took the time to explain every procedure she was doing. For example, when I wanted to get my teeth whitened, Dr. Cheryl was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. She is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I would recommend Dr. Cheryl to everyone. She is the best dentist I have ever had.

We have been going to Dr. Cheryl Smith for close to 20 years. She has taken such good care of my husband and I, and now our two children. She has always had our best interest at heart, and has always erred on the side of caution rather than rush into something that could be nothing. "Let's put a watch on that" is something I have heard many times from her. I appreciate her "chair-side" manner, and how she and her staff have made my kids feel comfortable at every visit, even when that meant getting a "bubble" for a procedure. We no longer live close to the dental office but we most definitely drive
