Our office philosophy puts the dental patient and their overall health at the forefront of their care. We practice comprehensive dental care whereby we review four major areas of dental health. In the process of gathering information imaging of teeth, photographs and models duplicating a patient's dentition may be utilized.
From the onset, Steve+Sue established an "open, honest and trusted" relationship with us, and they have taken care of us since. Steve, and Sue, "get it, " the ebb and flow of family life and the "surprises" thrown at the most well intentioned plans that are always disrupted. Steve, Sue & staff function as a team, Steve masterful with "work arounds" and restorative dentistry.
Your first visit to Dr. Stephen Huppert DDS establishes an important foundation for our relationship with you. During your initial visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, take comprehensive photos, diagnostic tests, TMJ evaluation, muscular evaluation and discuss our finds and help you pick a treatment plan that is best suited for you as needed.

I normally hate going to the dentist, but NOT anymore. I had my 1st appt w Dr. Huppert today. I love the guy and his staff. Office mgr Leslie, dental assistants/hygienists Alyssa and Andy, and Dr. H were wonderful. I nearly fell asleep when Andy was cleaning my teeth- fast, smooth & effective. They took all Covid precautions. You could not be in better hands than with Dr. Huppert and his staff. I don't fear going back and in fact, look forward to it.

Really pleasant. they listen to you and the service was gentle and professional and helpful. i was referred by a coworker recommendation and i was not disappointed! Its really nice to be treated kindly and like a person and Dr Huppert was able to make me an appliance to improve my sleep which has been a game changer.

My last two dentists retired in close succession. Now I start anew, and what a fine dental office this is - friendly and professional staff, clean, modern facilities, and superior Covid safety protocols. Dr. Huppert and his staff not only fixed my mouth but also my lifelong fear of dentists.
Having avoided going to the dentist for years I was expecting to hear that my best bet would be dentures but Dr. Huppert really knows teeth and was able to do what I thought was not possible.
It feels terrific to be able to smile again! I even do it for no reason sometimes, just because I can.
I can't recommend Dr. Huppert and his staff enough. Professional, prompt, personable, patient and painless are some words that come to mind. Best Dentist Ever.

Dr. Huppert, his assistants, office staff, and dental hygienist (yeah, Theresa, RDH) are the most professional, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable office staff in the Sacramento area. I have been coming to Dr. Huppert for over 20 years, and have always received the absolute best dental care, from cleanings and fillings to mouthguard shaping. Dr. Huppert is also among the top oral surgeons in the area. My brothers and I all had wisdom tooth extractions performed with little to no swelling, and my recovery barely called for the single pain pill I took.
Additionally, I have always known the staff to be a cut above the rest. Notably, most of their smiling faces have been welcoming me at the office for as long as I can remember.

Dr Huppert and his amazing team have the best customer service, only does work that is needed, explains things clearly and in detail, priority is always to make the customer happy, comfortable and pain free. I have been a customer for 13 years and have never been dissapointed with the work that was done. They are very accomodating in urgent matters or in emergencies going over and above their call of duty.

I should have wrote this review years ago. I've been seeing Stephen Huppert for decades now and I can say that every visit has been a good experience. From the friendly and very accommodating office staff to Huppert himself, they are always professional and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to take care of me. I have had many issues with my front crowns (of my own doing) and Stephen has showed up early and has even come in on the weekend to take care of my emergencies. Oh my gosh! I have found my "dental home"!!! The entire staff is professional yet friendly, kind, eager to help and the office has the newest equipment. I left after getting my teeth cleaned by Theresa actually looking forward to my next visit. Dr. Huppert is amazing!! You can tell everyone enjoys working together and they have been a team for years.
