Since it has opened its doors in 1997, River Street Restaurant has been a part of the heart and soul of downtown Milford. The DeCarlo family believes that the best meal is an Italian meal; friends and family sharing stories and laughs over good food and a bottle of wine. Mike DeCarlo, the owner and chef, brought the essence of an Italian meal to his restaurant.

Food was amazing! Service was steller. The ambiance indoors was ok. The outside needs a redo. It doesn't do the restaurant justice. That sad I still highly recommend this restaurant for the five+ star food and service.

Delicious Italian food and incredible service (plus the prices are great). You can tell they really care about their customers and I've enjoyed everything on their menu. Sadly I do not live nearby, but will definitely be making sure I stop by the next time I am in town!

First time getting dinner here rigatoni carbonara broccoli rabe and sausage and chicken florentine.all very good my family enjoyed everything .great flavors

Amazing pasta dishes in a cozy atmosphere with your favorite wine, (that you bring) at great prices. End with a walk around the duck pond and it’s a perfect date night! Staff is awesome too.

Tonight was the first time I used door dash and order from river restaurant. The worst restaurant ever. My order came and m food was dumped in the bag. Order 2 meals and only got enough for one person so I called and the restaurant owner stated it’s not his problem and blamed door dash who was actually amazing. They refund my dinner even though it was the restaurant at fault and apologized. I would not ever patronize river restaurant again. Owner is rude and doesn’t want to hear about anything. His way of solving problems is to hang up in your face. First time being treated this way and it

Amazing food, outstanding service, great atmosphere and fair pricing. I almost don't want to say just how good it is because if more people knew it would be almost impossible to get in! It's BYOB and I believe reservations are reccomended but don't let that deter you from one of the best homemade Italian meals you will ever eat!
