Excellent visit to Dr. Rutledge's office today. Erica the hygienist uses up to date, even cutting edge, technology that results in better outcomes and comfort. This office concentrates on keeping up with the latest technology releases and implements them into the practice. I feel this benefits not only the patient but the clinician as well. I had a marvelous experience interacting with all of the professionals at my new, dental office.The ladies at the front desk are both brilliant and delightful. I have been working with Dr. Rutledge in this office for nearly 6 years now. I had some old amalgam (silver) fillings that were put in my teeth when I was a teenager. I decided I wanted them replaced due to their age and them starting to breakdown around the edges, losing their good seal. Super happy with this firm. Their staff is knowledgeable and their equipment up to date but their real asset is their culture. From my first contact with them forward, I have always felt that they are interested in my comfort and well being. I'm the kind of person who wants to understand everything that is happening and they are very good at explaining everything fully and with great patience. I had a short but positive experience with Dr. Rutledge and his staff. I'm new to the area and am having some complications from a crown and from a surgery I just had. He was patient, knowledgeable and sat with me while we chatted about how to move forward. Susan at the front had me sit with her while she called around to find a specialist who could take my case and worked with me on payment. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Rutledge for 7 years. We stumbled upon his business just after we moved to Chicks Beach as it was close to our rental. Sometimes things were just meant to be as I cannot imagine us with another dentist. The office is in a great location and for the most part surface parking is available, but at times an issue since it is a medical complex. The inside of the office was redone around a year ago and is beautiful. Bottled water is in the lobby as you wait, but I have never found the wait time to be long and is the listed appointed time.
