The first reason is that the primary molars don't usually fall out on their own until at least age 10 to 12. Because we often see decay in these teeth before the age of 6, we know that even a small cavity can progress and become a problem before the tooth falls out. Another reason is because one of the functions of the primary teeth is to hold the space for the permanent teeth.

Went to Dr. Sumalee for second opinion and it was the right choice. My son is 5 years old. His previous dentist couldn't fix his cavities and recommended anesthesia. We went to Dr. Sumalee for a second opinion. She taught us how to work with him at home in preparation for her to fix his cavities. A month later we went again my son did well with her. Cavities are fixed with no anesthesia needed. You do have to pay up front before the insurance reimbursement but so as my own dentist. If I were to go with my son's previous dentist, his bill would have been much higher with general anesthesia

I can't recommend Dr. Sumalee enough. She's great with my toddler, and visits aren't traumatic at all. I always felt like Dr. Sumalee always made very clear, and practical, recommendations. I really like how she takes a whole-body approach to dental health, including discussing the microbiome, which I would never have thought about with dental health. I feel like my daughter is set up for good dental health for the future.

I have been taking my twins to Dr. Sumalee ever since they started teething. They are 14 years old know. We love her. She and her staff are the best. They know how to work with children and how to talk to parents. I'm a bit of a worrier about everything regarding my kids and she always takes the time to explain. I recommend her to everyone I know. I take my kids every 6 months for cleanings and they never complain. They always walk away with a big smile. Thank you!!!

Took my son for teeth cleaning. They were super cautious and clean because of covid. Had our temperature taken at door. Once inside front lobby we were given shoe covers. Everything was cleaned right before we arrived.
My children have been going here since they were babies. Dr Sumalee is professional and courteous. She takes her time not only to explain everything to the parents but also to the children. Herself and the staff make sure everyone is comfortable.

Dr Sumalee is the best. Her priority is holistic lifelong health and she is dedicated to acclimating children to dentistry so that they will have a good experience and learn to love taking care of their teeth. My son has bad cavities from night nursing and we began seeing Dr Sumalee when he was 3. She has not pushed any procedures on us but has given me all the options and explained their benefits and rationale and walked me through the different paths forward. She is interested in whole body function and is the first person to notice that my son is in fact tongue tied, which is affecting his sleep

My two kids have been going to Dr Sangsurasak for past 10 years. We never had to wait for more than 5 minutes (with an appointment). Dr. Sangsurasak always takes the time to educate us about dental health, biting, swallowing, nose breathing etc and how everything is connected. Dr. Sangsurasak is very thorough with her exams and is very knowledgeable. Her office staff is professional and courteous. Her place is always super clean and organized. We highly recommend Dr Sangsurasak to anyone who's looking for a dentist for their kids.

Sumalee is hands down the best pediatric dentist on this earth. Her vast knowledge in health related issues.....like the quality of saliva, types of food you eat, how you sleep, all play into the health of your teeth. Who knew! Sumalee is obsessed with giving you the best care possible for your child's teeth. She's quick when she needs to be with a child who may fear the dentist. Or she gives you as much time as you need asking all the questions you want. She's simply the best. I was extremely lucky to have all 3 of my children under her guidance. I wish they never had to switch

First of all I'm a dentist so I would be very critical of anyone in the same profession. The office is doing an amazing job in following all the recommendations to maintain a clean safe environment. The staff from the initial call to the appointment was very helpful and doing all the paperwork online ahead of time was a breeze. The Doctor was unbelievable, I was very impressed by how she handled my 5yr old who's very resistant to treatment ! I went there expecting just an exam with no treatment but the way she was able to actually get a filling done was just amazing. She definitely knows

Dr. Sumalee saw my 4-year old and 20-month old daughters for the first time. She was incredibly responsive and did a great job establishing rapport with them. My 4-year old used to jump out of the dentist chair in fear, but with Dr. Sumalee, she sat calmly for an entire cleaning and fluoride treatment. She answered all our (many!) questions thoroughly and patiently. I would definitely recommend her to families looking for a highly professional and compassionate practice.

Best doctor ever! It's so hard to find a doctor that takes her time and explain everything in detail to both me and my child, she took the time to explain everything she was doing to my son and made him feel very comfortable so that she could perform her exam. Dr. Sumalee was so knowledgeable that I wish she would be my dentist but she only sees children. Very impressed with her and her bed side manners! Totally recommend her!!

Dr. Sumalee is an angel. Came in on Sunday over thanksgiving weekend for an emergency procedure on my child who wasn't even her patient. She fixed two broken loose teeth and cleaned up my child's bloody mess of a mouth. She was kind, patient and reassuring. I can't say enough wonderful things about her as a person and dentist.

Took my 2.5 years old in for his check up. The front desk is very helpful and kind. We were inside pretty quickly. Dr. Is very friendly to my kid and explaining everything she was doing. She checked him thoroughly and quickly. After she checked him out, she showed some pictures she took in the beginning. Before we left she taught me how to take care of his teeth. He was enjoying his dentist visit and gets to pick the prize at the end. According to the front, she's not contracted with insurance but will help with the claim.
