Old Town Photo

We had sent a 80+ year old photo with our 92 year old mother as a little girl (a three generation photo) for restoration. As it was so small and dark and in really bad condition, we didn't think that it could be restored. However, they did a fantastic job with the restoration. Our mother is thrilled to actually see everyone in it. Thank you so much Marjan!

Great work with some custom mattes that I needed to fit some artwork into frames. It was a little difficult to find, but when you get to the door, on King Street, just push it open and head to the third floor, you’ll find this little cozy studio with some of the kindest staff you’ll ever meet. Much appreciated!

These guys do great work. I brought in an old, worn 100+ year old photograph (16x20) and they gave me two prints and a digital copy completely free of imperfections. When you closely compare the original to the restored version, the repairs they made look flawless. You would never know there were tears and paint spatters on the original. They're not cheap, by any means. But they're extremely knowledgeable and friendly, so rest assured that you'll get your money's worth.

I am very thankful for the help with an old photo. The copies are so well done and they even assisted with getting them into frames for me when I had difficulty. Total professionals but so kind at the same time.

FANTASTIC! I brought two 'family heirloom' photos, each over 100 years old to Nick. He did a phenomenal, excellent job! He explained the process and addressed my questions and concerns. The results for each photo were spectacular! I know online reviews are often awash In empty superlatives, but in the case of Old Town Photo each superlative is well earned and accurate! I have a few more photos that I will be taking to Nick soon. This IS a place you can trust your heirlooms to!!!!

This is LONG overdue, but I found Nik's card in an old purse and knew I needed to leave a review. Nik did a wonderful job restoring two photos of my grandfather. He died long before I was born, but I looked at those pictures and felt like I could reach out and hug him. When my mother found those photos, they were cracked, faded, and torn. Nik restored them beautifully, and I was able to frame them and give them to my mother. Not many pictures of him have survived, so we're thrilled to have these. It wasn't cheap, but you pay for quality, skill, and art.

I found the work of Old Town Photo to be breathtaking. The restoration from a nearly 140 year old tintype, which no longer retained detail, to a renovated photograph showing the skin tone and color greatly support the family contention that my grandmother was Cherokee. This outstanding work not only brought out the images, but the attitude and independence that my grandmother was known for. You introduced me to a powerful, strong woman who feared little. Not all photographs today could match the able to capture the character of this woman from the 1880s who lived until the 1940s. I can't praise

I wanted two historical military photos restored and Nik did an outstanding job. He is very attention to detail oriented and has the artistic aptitude required for this type of work. A very gifted man with a high degree of technical proficiency in digital photography. I would strongly recommend his work.

Back in April of last year, I brought an old picture of my grandparents to Nik for restoration. The picture was glued under plastic and very faded. The aged adhesive glue had created cracks in the picture. How Nic restored the picture was nothing short of a miracle and the finished product was absolutely beautiful.
