Though Dan Harris began his career working both as a public defender and probate court appointed attorney, the passion he carried for representing clients who suffered negligence resulting in personal injury seems to have matured throughout the years.

Mr. Groat is a native of Petoskey, Michigan and is a 1996 graduate of Petoskey High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan in 2000, where he majored in Political Science also received minors in Business Law and Regulations and well as Economics.
Michael T. Klagstad is an Upper Peninsula transplant who came to Northern Lower Michigan to attend Central Michigan University. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree, he moved on to Michigan State University College of Law where he received 5 jurisprudence awards and graduated in the top 3% of his class.
Miranda Bailey-Quick focuses her practice primarily on family law, criminal law, estate planning, and personal injury. Although these areas may seem diverse to one another, Miranda believes they are more often interrelated than most tend to believe. Often, as a family law attorney, clients have found themselves involved in the criminal justice system because of a domestic dispute with their spouse, or in personal protection matters.

I gave it one star but really wanted to do zero but it wouldn't let me!
I was set up with Maureen by a referral from Travis Groat. She called me at 5:00 on the day I contacted Harris Law. Unfortunately I missed the call & did call her right back but missed her. I continued calling her back, leaving messages with 3 different secretary's, for over a week but I NEVER received a call back.
After my 5th call to Maureen's office, I later received a call from her secretary stating that she was too busy & could not help me out with my case!!! What changed in that week??? HER phone call to me lead me

Travis Groat represented me during my divorce. He and his assistant, Michelle, were great to work with. They are experienced, friendly, and prompt. During my divorce there was something else that came up where I needed legal advice and one of Travis’ associates, that specialized in that area of the law, stepped in to help me right away. I am the Father of two young girls and went through a rough divorce and a long drawn out custody battle.
