Pete's is always on-point with their food, drinks and service!
Went here to celebrate my husband's graduation and everything was good! Started off with their kale and sausage soup and scallop bisque-their soups are always delicious.
Had Pete's salad and that is always yummy!
Fresh hot bread is always plentiful and they provide butter and/or olive oil for the bread.
For dinner my husband had a Cajun shrimp and sausage pasta special and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly.
I had the Parmesan encrusted haddock with risotto and it was all yummy!

I have to start with the positives by saying that portion sizes are very large and the encrusted mozzarella was fantastic. Honestly, I had such high hopes. A number of friends recommended Pete's, but my entire family left disappointed. We love Italian food and this just did not quite make the cut. It was as bad as Olive Garden. My risotto was a mushy overcooked mess and I think the roasted red pepper came straight out of a jar. My husband's pasta was cold and had a very bland red sauce dumped on it that we also suspect came from a jar. The linguine alfredo was just okay and my youngest didn't care

Lovely hole in the wall place for date night. The prices are very reasonable ranging from $17-$35 for a plate. The portions are large and quality is delicious. Would come back if I wasn't from out of town. Make a reservation to be on the safe side because they are small.
Edit: was visiting the area again and had to come back to this place. Our server wasn't as attentive at first but it was a little busier compared to the first time but as the night went on she did great :) food was just as good as the first time 😋

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating but a couple of things are getting in the way. First, we found this restaurant with a Google search because we were passing through on vacation, we wanted good Italian food and we took a chance and popped in. When we entered, the guy asked if we had a reservation and we said no. His arrogant and snappy attitude almost made me want to turn around and walk out just then. Partially because I could see a nearly empty dining room.
But he said we could sit in the bar area. So we sat down in the corner and it was cold and the seats were hard, and not cushioned

Minutes off of I-81, this is a solid choice for travelers look for a good meal that is not a chain. Many choices of Italian themed food with intresting variations, food allergy friendly, and attentive service make Pete's a winner. The home made soups were particularly good. Risotto seems to a be favorite of the chef.
Only downside is that a handful of entrees were $3-4 more than we thought they should be.

We have lived in the Watertown area coming upon four years now, and we recently found out about the restaurant after a co-worker heard me complaining aloud about how bad the pizza is in Watertown, so he directed me to Pete's. The 1st day we were so impressed with the pizza (best in town that we've found) the following day, I decided to take my wife out and which was even more of a better experience. David constantly checked on us; we had a great discussion; he was extremely polite and professional, down to earth, very friendly, just good all around. The atmosphere was excellent, busy

This is one of best restaurants I have ever been to. My fiancé and I stopped here for dinner Valentine's Day on our way from Syracuse to Clayton. There's not enough nice things I can say. Shirley was our waitress and she was phenomenal. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer, chicken riggies and chicken parm for our entrees and each got our own dessert. Every single aspect of this meal was amazing and we will CERTAINLY be back!!!

When I arrived for dinner, there were very few cars in the lot. I wasn't sure they were even open ! When I went inside, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a dimly lit fancy spot to bring someone. There's a bar room as well.
The garlic knots are one of the best I've had and I would highly recommend them. If you order anything, order the knots.
We ordered off their specials and were not disappointed.

What a great surprise in this town hides such a extraordinary Italian restaurant! The server was very friendly and courteous. She checked on very often and suggested great and delicious choices. Pretty everything tasted wonderful.
The special pasta had good serving portion and taste. The sauce was Cajun and creamy. Love the taste. The shrimp is huge!
Will be back for sure! Recommend you to try here for dinner!
