Hyde Park Estates was originally built in 1945. The property belonged to F.D.R, hence we are across the street from his estate. The buildings were stable houses and living quarters for employees of F.D.R. Later on it was renovated into a garden style apartment complex. Hyde Park Estates was the worst experience by far. Major tension (turmoil) between three families over drug related issues. Also the maintenance guy who lives in the complex was very sketchy when making "fixes" inside persons apartments. The management team are lackadaisical at managing their own property. Often times they put on a facade.... It's very strange that the maintenance guy who drives around drunk at times with an expired driver license actually manages such a drug infested area and collects tenants rent. Very creepy! Renters "BEWARE" of this nightmare on elm street. Not worth the headache

I use to live there and I hated it! There was mold growing everywhere, seriously! Mold was growing all on the walls, windows, closets, and back of the main door. The heat was never turned on, I had to turn on the oven for heat throughout the day. I complained about the mold to Charlie which is the super and he did nothing! He told me to wipe it down with bleach. Oh and a lot of the people that live there do drugs/alcohol including the super. I lasted for a few months and had to move. I was not living there with my child. Do not move there, you will regret it!!
