I feel at home behind the camera. Photography is my visual vocabulary. It is my tool for self-expression and I cannot fathom not shooting. As a bonus, I meet amazing people and forge wonderful friendships. Not bad, eh?! As to how I got started, I was shooting as a hobbyist for years to sate my artistic appetite, but it wasn't enough and at some point I realized photography had an indelible hold on me.
I know how important reviews are to you because I read them too. What matters most is that you are happy with what I deliver and I will bend over backwards to make that happen. But don't just take my word for it. Read reviews from those who have had sessions with me. Some of my reviews are on my Google and Yelp pages too - feel free to check them out.
For a maternity session, the ideal time is between 30 and 36 weeks (before you are considered full term at 37 weeks). I know you'll be exhausted at this point, but I want to make sure I capture your beautiful bump, and these are the prime weeks to do so. I only work with natural light, so the best times to meet for outdoor sessions are in the early morning or late afternoon (within a couple of hours of sunrise or sunset).

Krystil is not only a talented photographer but she is also a genuinely kind person and very easy to work with. She was very responsive to my inqueries throughout the booking process. The photo session with her was a breeze for us. It was literally a walk in the woods. I was a bit stressed out at first trying to get our toddler to cooperate for the photo session but she really worked with our toddler and just let us go with the flow, however our child wanted to go about doing it. Our toddler was able to take breaks and have snacks as well as play times as much as she wished throughout the session

My husband and I were very excited when we saw Krystil's work online. We appreciate artistic candid photography and have been searching for the right photographer for a long time. Krystil was very responsive and kind and we easily scheduled our family session.

Krystil was such a joy to work with. I had booked a family session which was moved due to the pandemic. Krystil was so patient with me, as I took a long time to reschedule. The day of the photoshoot, she made us all feel comfortable and we had a memorable beach session. Best of all was the beautiful photos that we received, which we will treasure forever. Her pictures are candid, unique, and artistic.

My sister gifted us a family photo shoot so my first interaction with Krystil was via email. Krystil was very warm, sweet, and flexible. She was kind and gentle in our emails, which I very much appreciated since we are in the middle of a pandemic. She kept in contact for several months as we figured out a date. I have a 10-year-old from my first marriage and it was important he be home. She understood and worked with me on this. I knew the location I wanted and she had absolutely no issues with this. Krystil is amazing! I originally reached out because love her unique editing style so much. It's different from everything else I've found in Orange County, California. Then in our email communications she was SO organized and helpful with location suggestions. During our actual shoot she was friendly, kind, real, beyond professional *and* offered THE BEST ideas, direction and guidance on what we needed to be doing to get excellent shots. I am so so happy with the photos Krystil delivered and will definitely be hiring her again as soon as I can find an excuse :)

Krystil came to our home to do a newborn/family shoot for us. She is absolutely lovely to work with, made us all feel completely comfortable and really took the time to capture some special family moments. Krystil is AMAZING!! She is creative and so easy to work with. I am a photographer myself, so I know that some sessions can feel like a lot of work for families trying to wrangle their kids and begging for smiles; but Krystil has an amazing ability to roll with whatever she is given. There is something so genuine and authentic about every image. I highly recommend her regardless, but especially if you love warm candid images.

Krystil has a way of photographing you the way you hope to see yourself. She is able to bottle magic in photographic form and you get to keep it forever. My session with her was laid back and not stressful in the least, even with a preschooler who tended on the less-than-eager to be photographed side. The photographs that resulted literally fulfilled something in me I didn’t know was missing. Hire her, you won’t regret it!
