Lunch delivery was 5 stars! Food arrived hot, flavorful and plentiful. Even came with naan (though it wasn't mentioned so we got extra). Goa fish curry was very tasty with tender fish, lamb phaal spicing was good but lamb a bit tough (so far there's only been 1 indian restaurant I've been to that makes tender lamb so it's a tall order). All in all, won't be the last time ordering!

Modest restaurant for a fancy name. Service and host were great but food needs plenty flavors. The medley was a lot of dry meat. The lamb rogan josh was a sweet curry. Taj Mahal beer was good as ever but the papad appeared oven roasted and bland. For a delhi based owner with Nepali chef the north indian food needs much to be desired. If only Indian food could be judged by colors and flavors!

We have been eating at Mumbai times for past 5 years now and the quality has been going down the hill steadily. Today was the last straw for us. In our take out we ordered two orders of rasmalai. When we opened the containers we were taken aback by the spoilt milk stink. The rasmalai had gone bad completely, upto the extent that the milk was separated in curd. One bite and our doubts were confirmed. It's beyond me as how the staff putting together our meal didn't notice obvious signs of spoilt milk product. How could a restaurant serve spoilt milk product? Never going to this restaurant

VERY DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE!!!! WILL NEVER DINE HERE EVER!!! I have been your customer for over 6 years and it has always been a pleasure to dine at your restaurant. I was there tonight with my family only to be treated in the WORST possible way. The naan served to us was stale and when I requested a change the waiter AADIL was super RUDE and yelled at me. My family was shocked at his behavior. This was our all time favorite place to go as family but we will NEVER go back here only because of this one waiter AADIL. He is a DISASTER for your place.

5-star solid, I said SOLID review from your's truly. I am speaking about the lunch takeout, BTW. I can't believe the size of the portions you get for a simple lunch meal. More than plenty. And it was delicious. And very inexpensive for freakin' Greenwich!

We ordered delivery and did not receive our order 1/2 hour past when it was to be received. I called the deliver service who contacted the restaurant stating that they were running late (duh) and would be delivering the food soon. I had lost my patience so my husband went to go pick it up rather than waiting for the food to finish cooking and then waiting for a delivery person. He said they apologized when he picked up the meal. At least throw in a free appetizer or something...but they didn't. I ordered because of a fundraiser. Food quality was okay. My husband loved the naan with onions

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was lovely. Our waiter was delightful -- so friendly and knew exactly what was in every dish. It was just such a nice experience. A real refined and authentic Indian experience. Definitely a place to bring the family. And they have an entire vegan section! I got the cabbage dish. My partner for the Chana masala and it was excellent.

Unassuming small front opens to a deep spacious restaurant. I personally shy away from buffet, mostly Indian. But here it was surprisingly pleasant. Being lactose intolerant it was nice to see the choices. Only 4 were dairy. They had vegetarian dishes chicken dishes and even vegan. All flavorful and well spiced. The staff was attentive they even made sure my nan bread wasn’t with butter. Not bad lunch.

We were a party of 12 including kids and elderly people, reserved a table around 9:15 pm (where their closing time was (10-10:30 pm) yet the food we order was so delicious and we were never rushed off , staff attented us nicely and calmly . Quality of food was not sacraficed even at those closing hours and a large order was handled very well. We are really glad we visited the Mumbai Times.!
