Good Time Fitness has a very gradual exercise program. We're not going to kill you on the first day. We meet each client at their current fitness level and progress at a pace that is specific to each person depending on their age, conditioning, and previous injuries. We are all about progress. If you're getting stronger in the gym then you're also burning fat and gaining lean muscle.
This is why all of our clients have a personal folder made for them that contain the repetitions, resistance, and duration of each workout. This way we can make sure everyone is making progress! We believe in training not exercising. Training is putting the body under a progressive overload every session and progressing off of what was done last session.

Nate's calm, steady approach to getting stronger & in shape will completely win you over :) and the gym has a great down-to-earth vibe. I started training with Nate over a year ago with an old back injury and almost no experience in strength training. The progress over time has been amazing! I'm sure I wouldn't have stuck with it had I started at one of the bigger gyms without focusing on the basics.

I've been training with Drake for 7 months now. I didn't realize I would enjoy lifting weights as much as I do now.
Drake helped me build strength gradually and I have not only enjoyed the process but also learned how to weight lift properly. He understands me and my progress to change the exercise accordingly. He explains each work out thoroughly and make sure that you are doing it correctly. He motivates and pushes us to the limit but his attention to detail is admirable and he makes sure that we are not injuring ourselves in anyway.
I would definitely recommend giving Drake a try

I was completely out of shape staying at home last year due to the pandemic and wanted to get in shape by increasing strength, reduce fat and gain lean muscles. I found Good Time Fitness and started training with Drake and only after a month started seeing the results. I have been working out with Drake for few months now. I have never felt better about my body since my early 20s. Squats and deadlifts were never my forte but now I do it and somewhat love to do it as well.
I cannot recommend Good Time Fitness and Drake enough. If you are struggling to get on track and have some money to burn just try them you'd thank me.

I have been training with Drake at Good Time Fitness for 4 months now. It is a fun experience so far and i never felt more fit. The sessions are tailored around the goals and drake helps in adding new things into the sessions to keep the experience exciting and fun which keeps the motivation going. Just one word Awesome ! I have been training since last 7 months now under Sam and Nate. Its perfect place , for people who wants to burn fat faster and build muscle. I never knew , how much bigger muscles weight training do impact on your body for transformation until I started training here. I have been training with Good Time Fitness for over 2 years now. I was with Rob at first but he left and Nate has taken over my training since then. They have both been great trainers by fixing my posture and by having a steady improvement to show. I love that they aren't like the stereotypical get-in-the-face-and-shout-at-you kinda trainers. They let you set the pace but encourage you to keep making progress and push your limits. I have been training with Nate for over 6 months. Nate keeps tracks of my progress meticulously. Nate patiently listens to my needs, provides ways to improve my postures and gradually pushing my limits. After every session with Nate, I feel energetic for rest of my day.

I am NOT a gym-goer. Exercise has never been enjoyable for me, and gyms have been far too intimidating. Any time I've had the courage to sign up for a personal training session at a big box gym, I've been rewarded with a pre-scripted exercise plan that was unrelated to my goals and invasive questions about my diet.

Nate is the best trainer I have trained with. He is very meticulous and in addition to the workout session he explains how the exercises help me in getting the results that I want. Nate is a super amicable and funny person. We end up talking about different topics under the sun and I always look forward to my training sessions with Nate. I've grown a lot stronger in the last few months than I have ever in last few years working out under different trainers. He is very knowledgeable and knows what is the best for me. I suffered from two frozen shoulders: each one after the other, that went on for 4 years total, and resulted in 3 surgeries. A couple of years after all that was over, I went in with the objective of building overall strength, and particularly strength in upper body/shoulders, where muscles had atrophied.

I worked with Nate for almost two years before he started his own gym. He was my trainer. I started with a promotion plan for new customer. I didn't expect I can go through the training at that time. But Nate made me believe in his philosophy and stayed into the program. I started with once a week and in the summer time twice. A small update, I had to get new shorts because Nate has worked my bum so hard I feel like I just left the Palm Spring White Party. Mid-squat my formerly baggy shorts tore right down the middle! Thankfully, it was an odd day for me and I was wearing underwear or all of the men at the gym would have thought it was dinner time.

I trained with both Nate for 1 session and Rob for 5 sessions so far and have already seen strength gains. In less than a month, I was able to make steady progress each time with efficient but challenging workouts.
While they do emphasize the core powerlifting sets of squats, deadlifts and benchpress, I find these workouts to build a great foundation for strength compared to the random routines in cross-fit gyms.
