China Express

The food is pretty decent but like a lot of Chinese restaurants I've dealt with over the years not only are there communition issues but the people who work there are usually standovish & rude. They don't even say thank you or acknowledge a tip. I'll be trying a new place.

I don't know what it is but sometimes when I order here what sounds like a teenage girl picks up and she is ALWAYS overcharging the price. My order should have came out to 16.25 with tax not 18.49; it's ANNOYING.

It's Christmas Eve night and wanted something hot, tasty and good so I called China Express and ordered the Sesame chicken combination platter with white rice. Lady on phone says pick up in 7minutes and confirmed the location of the store. I pay $10 and picked up my food and went home. Rice was stale and warm, chicken wasn't hot or fresh and it wasn't white meat or any meat at all. It's was all dough. I then called China Express to verbally express my disappointment. Nd I believed I was gonna be a regular! I've been to a few Chinese restau. nd spots before nd rarely i would deny the food or throw it away. It wasn't horrible but I had to with this spot. May or may not happen to you

I read many great reviews on this place which is why I decided to give it a try. Im guessing most people just haven't had good Chinese food before. Won't be ordeing from here again. 🗑

Found our new Chinese restaurant. I debated for about 30 minutes. Never ordered from this one. However, I will be ordering from here from now on. Great food, Great Prices, Fast delivery, and friendly. Lived in Tarpon Springs for 13 years and this is by far the best food I've had the pleasure of eating. Thank you !

So good. Arrived early and they have amazing vegetable soup that hit the spot. I will absolutely order from here again.

Personally I think the food is great. During the pandemic I was able to go in there and wear a mask and that was no problem. So I ordered like a $14 dish by myself, I was at the front counter myself and she asked me if I wanted to leave a tip and I said that I would leave it on the table. which I did.
And when I got my notification on my phone of how I spent there, it was an extra $3 for some odd reason and that has happened twice now and I will not go back

I ordered General Tso's for pickup. I tried some of it within 5 minutes of pickup, it was still hot but the sauce was horrible. Zero flavor, so so soo bland.

I am SO PICKY with Chinese food, no place is ever up to par with my taste. There's only one place I would go to for Chinese food before this but today they were closed down. I looked online for a new place to go and was skeptical about this location but the food is SO GOOD. I will be back. Customer service is great. Expected the man to get upset while my child was screaming in the background but I was only met with kind laughs =] Recommend this place highly!

They forgot half of our order and would not do anything about it. What we did get was over cooked (dumplings were burnt). Cindy (if that was her name) told me to deal with it!

Disgusting. How can you mess up pot stickers. They were hard and burnt like. My husbands rice tasted burnt also. They recently had a health violation. I didn't realize until after I purchased food there. Never again and I live 5 minutes away. Everything was awful. Wish I could give zero stars. No air on as well. Just gross. I should've known.

I went to China Express this afternoon at 2pm and ordered one of the lunch specials. Picked up the Snowpeas and beef which came with pork fried rice, a spring roll, and an ice cold can of Coke . All of this was under $7.00 and everything was delicious and very filling. The Snowpeas were plentiful and tender. The beef was a nice amount and also very tender. I loved that there were a nice amount of water chestnuts in the dish too. Definitely a great meal and a nice price. I will definitely be going back again!

After trying to order BJs asian fusion on this lovely tuesday to find out they were closed i needed to find a new place to try ! China Express was delicious , hot food , good prices , they actually got my order correct ( im difficult and always change things on the menu) food got here fast !Will most definitive order again ! I couldn't even get half way through it. Neither could my wife. Maybe I'm spoiled by PF Chang's and other more high quality places but both the Kung Pao chicken and the general tao chicken were bland to the point of disgust.

I knew something was wrong when I placed the order they said ready in 5 minutes. Lo Mein was mushy and shrimp were soggy. The shrimp toast tasty odd, like old pork so we had to throw out.
Lastly we were sick all through the night. Need I say more.
Be cautious with this place.

I am a chinese food junkie, and this is the best chinese take out around here that I have had! I have tried other places, but I always end up back at China Express! The food has always been fresh, hot and delicious! Delivery is prompt, and I have not had an error on any order!! Their Mongolian Beef is amazing! Also, be sure to try their Coconut Chicken/ Shrimp, egg rolls, boneless spare ribs, krab rangoon, beef lo mein and sesame chicken! Obviously, we haven't been disappointed! Lol

Will most definitely never order from here again. The chicken tastes old, it's dry. The eggplant is coated in sweet sauce, lacks garlic flavor and is not spicy at all. Overall the worse Chinese food I've ever experienced.

WARNING the young man who works the register is extremely rude!!!! I was at a friends for christmas day in Tarpon Springs and this was the only place open. We decided to go to China Express and get some lunch. Needless to say I completely regret going there. A younger guy was taking my order and being extremely rude. Talking in chinese to another cook smiling and insulting us as we were waiting. Even after the poor service my order wasn't even right and the kid was telling me thats what I ordered. Thankfully i had my friend there who had assured the kid I orderd white rice instead of stir

We were looking for Chinese one night when the Husbeast was working late and I was home sick. This used to be our go to place, so I rang them up and placed an order for 2 General Tso combos, much to the husbeast's consternation.

The meals were tasty, both had fried rice and an egg roll and a helping of General Tso's chicken that was MORE than enough for me, and the husband was a member of the almost clean plate club. It was Good, but not phenomenal.

We have take out dinner nearly twice a week from China Express.

Last night we ordered the $27.99 Family Meal Deal.

Here's what we ordered:
Large Chicken & Broc, Large Chicken Egg Foo Young, Large Rice (your choice), Large WonTon Soup, 2 packs of crispy soup noodles, 3 spring rolls, 2Liter Coke, fortune cookies and they always give you an order of chicken nuggets with any purchase over $20.

I LOVE their food.

Called in for a special order of one of their items, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Substituted two ingredients to a dish and they did not skimp. Chicken friend rice was wonderful in amount and quality of chicken and veggies. But it lacked a little flavor. Nothing you couldn't dock up at home. Also ordered teriyaki beef and was pleased with overall quality and flavor. They offer free delivery so I will definitely be going back in addition to the quality of food they serve. Prices are awesome as well.

Pretty good food. What's awesome though, is they have this "deal" where for $25 you get an entire box of food. It's enough for about 5 people, or 3 meals for 2 people I would say.

It's a bit far if you don't live close, but definitely a great deal, and one of the better New York style take out joints in the area.
