Located in Westminster Ave, Regina's Restaurant is a purveyor of fine Argentinian and Peruvian dining. The Canales family moved from Peru to California many years ago. At that time, they found work at an Argentinian bakery. Since then they've discovered Argentinian cuisine and bakery goods. In 1994 after a hardworking journey they were able to take ownership of Regina's Restaurant.

They want to continue the family atmosphere and friendly service Regina's known for. Seafood, marinated in a glorious combination of yellow pepper and aji panca, with a touch of cream to mix them perfectly. Accompanied by Pape huayro from the Andes of Peru. This combination of sea and land is inevitable in our menu Do not forget to try this delight!

Jaime turned out to be very pleasant as a representative to the place. We ordered a few dishes and were not disappointed with our order to. 3 Ceviche Mixto which meant seafood variety and no fish. Everyone liked it, not perfect, mind you, but certainly fresh and nice serving. 2 Tamales Peruvian style with pork, and very agreeable plus nice size. On the Argentinian side of the menu we ordered 2 breast of chicken with rice, nicely marinated and easy to eat. Many items in the menu piqued our curiosity but there was enough for the four of us. The empanadas were really good. Got the chicken and spinach and cheese empanadas. They also have the beef option. They also have wine. Staff was friendly. Really enjoyed the empanadas.

Their service has declined drastically. For the past 4years we have been regular customers with great satifaction. But, the last 2 times we have gone this year have been bad experiences. We always order ahead the same food, so employees know us well by now. Last time, the service was provided with an attitude, as though we were begging for the food we were paying for. We weren't sure if they were just having a bad day, so we let it go. Also, we always made sure we would leave a great tip, even if they were having one bad day. Service with an attitude was not appreciated though.

I really liked this place for Latin flavors, Argentinian and Peruvian food, they also have a retail section with authentic items, wine and beer from those countries.
The outside is very basic however inside is charming, clean and well organized, the service is very friendly.

I took my boyfriend here to try out Peruvian food!
It is such a cute restaurant absolutely delicious food and such kind people!

Solid food. The quality has gone down just a bit over the years but it's still one of the few places that serves good Argentinian food.

Friendly wait staff. Good food. We didn't feel rushed. The server wasn't hovering over us constantly, it felt more like European style relax atmosphere. They have a call button at each table if you need your server. I highly recommend Regina. They also have a variety of wines and deserts. Their empanadas are awesome! They also do take out and I believe delivery.
