1 Chile Verde, 1 Chile Colorado, 1 Chicken, 1 Ground Beef Enchiladas, with Rice, Beans, Sour Cream & Guacamole. Frank and his wife Silvia Garcia opened the first La Casa Garcia restaurant in the Leatrice neighborhood next to the Ponderosa Park, in the city of Anaheim. The restaurant was there for three years.
Later Frank saw the opportunity to move to the present location at 531 W. Chapman Avenue in the city of Anaheim. Frank followed his dreams and put down $5,000 towards the lease. La Casa Garcia has successfully been open for over four decades. After 30 years, his dreams of being able to provide for his family, and the ability to offer the people of Orange County the finest Mexican food, became a "reality".

This place was hyped up by some friends so I decided to try it. I like that they had a lot of authentic dishes plus some Tex Mex dishes as well. I felt like the food was a little too bland all the way down to the chips and salsa. It's missing that abuelita sazón. For similar Tex Mex food with more flavor i would recommend Super Mex. The staff was friendly and there is a lot of parking. The restaurant does support local law enforcement and veterans.

Frank has been my dad's friend for at least 43 years. From cook to owner. Frank has always cared about his food . It's always a pleasure to eat here when I'm in town. Menudo is served 7days a week! Love it! I highly suggest if your in the area and want authentic Mexican food, then stop here! You won't be disappointed. Frank if you see this you should put a pic of my dad in Vietnam and one with you.

My parents have been coming here often mostly for menudo. The menudo is the best and it's evident as my parents drive 20 mins for it. The steak picado is not bad. The last time my dad called in an order for menudo, he asked for nervio/nerve in it as well as a side of nervio. He went, picked it up and brought it back home only to discover there wasn't any nervio in it, nor did he get the side order even though he was charged. He called to let the restaurant know and the woman that answered the phone told my dad he was wrong, and he had actually asked for pata/feet. Not only did my dad

This place has more than 4 stars so I decided to give it a try. I just saw the stars I didn’t read the reviews. When I went in I noticed mostly all the customers were non Hispanic. That’s no problem at all. When you look through the reviews you’ll notice the high ratings are mostly non Hispanic people. After trying the food I can honestly say it was the worse Hispanic restaurant I’ve ever been to. The burrito tasted like it was those 1 dollar burritos. The beans were heavy salted. The margarita my wife had was disgusting. Non Hispanic people might have not been raised in a Hispanic household

All you can eat menudo and with all the above all for $7.99! It was all very delicious and w lots of great hospitality. It is a big restaurant and it is excellent for big parties. We came with four adults and three teenagers. We feasted and our server was just pure awesomeness. She was tactful and advised us when something other then an extra it would be a extra charge. She was honest and upfront. I like honest and she was gracious. I forgot her name but she has really pretty eyes short short hair like a pixie and with adorable glasses. Sorry I forgot your name!
I promise to return as it is a

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. It was my grandpas favorite place to eat right around the corner from his house. I'm 20 years old now and still enjoy coming here. I love the albóndiga soup, steak, enchiladas, flautas, everything! I take everyone here! Both sides of the family. My other grandpa from Arizona would talk about this place even though he had dementia and couldn't travel anymore he would bring up this place and ramble on about the menudo. In short story everyone loved the food here and leaves satisfied. Thank you Frank and staff for many years of service

We got our food to go. First time. I got the cheese Enchilada and Taco combo. It was delicious, taco and meat had perfect crunch and flavor. Rice and beans were good. I would eat this meal again. My wife got the shrimp fajita's and they were just decent. Not quite enough flavor, and they forgot the tortilla's. Guacamole was delicious as well. I'll return and give it another go. I was satisfied, wife was just content.

The food is tasty here, small menu, sizable portions, affordable prices. We ordered the fajitas, some beef tacos, and the breakfast special (Chile verde) as seen on the pictures. Overall the food is good if you’re into quick Mexican food. The place was clean and in order. The service was fast, although there weren’t a lot of people eating lunch. I’d recommend this place for some quick Mexican taste.

Came here after helping my friend clean her apartment after moving out. We were starving!
STAFF: The woman that greeted us and sat us down was very friendly. We didn't have to wait. Our waitress was efficient. Kind and quick.
LOCATION: It's on a busy street and the parking is a bit limited.
FOOD:
- Taquito plate: The taquitos had no flavor which means the meat has no flavor. The beans and rice were ok.
- Tamale w/sauce: The tamale is not good. It was a bit dry and the sauce tastes like a sauce from a can.
- Albondiga soup: The albondiga soup i for came as a side with my plate

So after reading the good reviews on this place I decided to take a drive from Chino Hills to go and try it. Once we were 15 minutes away I placed an order for pickup. When I got there and went to pay, they tell me "we're only accepting cash" Don't you think that's something you should have specified on the phone when I was placing my order because the majority of people now and days use their debit/credit card to pay! So I had to go find a bank to pull the money out. Halfway home, I check the order (stupid me for thinking they would get it right) and my chilaquiles have

I went here a bunch during 2013, I just returned in July 2021, this place is the best. A short walk from the Hyatt, they have a happy hour with $3 drafts and 1/2 off appetizers. Their Barrio/Mex pizza is worth the money at $12.95, and a steal at $6.50. It is like Mexican pizza from Taco Bell, but homemade and 5 times as big. It tastes amazing, and I have never seen it on another menu throughout California.

Absolutely a disgrace of Mexican food. Maybe people in California supports this, but the menudo was terrible, they don't clean the meat and don't have any flavor.
I don't know what part of Mexico they are from but I'm all about fine cuisine made with love. This was a disgusting experience
I don't know how they can call themselves the menudo king.
Since 1973.... This place has been opened for too long....

Took forever to get menus becos they forgot, never had my table asked if anyone wanted refils, food didnt come out all together, 1dt batch came than about 4 mins later the 2nd batch, than about 10 mins after that my plate came (just 2 cheese enchiladas) and it was rushed... My tortillas were hard and the cheese was littarly cold... They gave me a new plate but by the time it came everyone was done eating... Only 2 others eating so it wasnt busy... We also had to ask for our tortillas for the other dishes after they never came with them
