Since mandating the retrofit of multiunit buildings in San Francisco, the Building Department has required the review of more than 6000 buildings citywide. In 2015. The city of Los Angeles has implemented a similar retrofit program for soft and "tuck under" buildings and well as non ductile concrete buildings.

I got Erevan to do a very simple drawing for a wall reinforcement. The drawings came in on time and passed through the building department ok. However, the process wasn't great. Erevan seemed to change details that we agreed to between the time we talked and the next time we spoke. Division of labor between us was also confused. And there were mistakes on the drawings that he told me to try to get through DBI, but I wasn't comfortable with that, so I had to pay him to go down there and do it himself (he fixed the drawings instead of presenting them with mistakes). Awesome job. Provided an engineering drawing in less than a day. He was recommended by our contractor since a particular sized steel beam needed to be calculated to support my garage ceiling. He sure picked the correct one. Actual work was done without any issues. Honest and answers any questions you have.

Our first project with Erevan to design our front of the house stairs as the support structure had deteriorated. He was recommended by our contractor. He was very quick and responsive and got the job done.
The second experience with Erevan was even better. We needed to build a retaining wall on a hill in our back yar. It was not going to be an easy experience.
