Pinkard Construction Co. was founded by James W. Pinkard in 1962. A 30 year veteran of the Colorado construction industry, Pinkard had worked in every position throughout his tenure.
Pinkard is different. We are committed to being a true partner to the entire construction team. Every Pinkard project begins with a partnering session where expectations are defined and regular feedback is established and planned. We promise to partner with you from day 1. Egos are left behind and there is regular cross-team feedback and transparency with all stakeholders.
The earlier we are brought in on a project, the more we can provide value in preconstruction - through planning. In the earliest stages of a project, we can provide valuable insight into site selection and the relative costs of various massing strategies. As a design progresses, we can assist your design team by providing real-time estimating.
Pinkard's first senior living community was for Frasier Meadows Manor in Boulder in 1963 - in our second year of operation. Thanks to the immense success of this first project for Frasier, we went on to construct ten more projects for Frasier (including their recent $100 Master Plan Expansion) plus more than 60 other senior living projects for a variety of Front Range clients.
From A to (almost) Z, Pinkard's experience with public/municipal clients covers nearly the entire alphabet, starting with the City of Aspen and ending with the Town of Windsor. In total, we have completed more than 90 projects for 37 public/municipal clients across the Colorado Front Range.
And these 70+ projects run the gamut in scopes of work and challenges, including high rise and historical renovations, ground-up medical office buildings and coroners' facilities, recreation, fleet maintenance facilities, administration/ office buildings, and more.This experience has taught us about the unique needs of our public/municipal clients, and the accountability and fiscal responsibility that municipalities have to their citizens.
