At Aurora Dentistry, Kathy is the first person to kindly greet our patients as they enter our office. She strives to make our patients as comfortable with their treatment options as possible while providing excellent patient service. Kathy handles dental insurances and helps coordinate appointments, making sure our patients maintain their healthy/beautiful smiles by coming in regularly for their exam and cleaning appointments.
Dr. Yao Liu has practiced in DFW area since 2011. Her extensive dental education has taken her coast to coast before opening her own practice Aurora Dentistry in McKinney, Texas. Dr. Liu attained her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.
She later received her doctorate degree and AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) certificate from the State University of New York at Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine, where Dr. Liu was honored with scholarship for outstanding clinical achievement, recognized with commendations for excellent academic performance and also practiced as a part-time assistant instructor in indirect restoration course.

Aurora Dentistry provides excellent care. But, neither my wife nor I can get out of that place without some dire prediction to our dental health unless we have this or that procedure done. I do not appreciate it when they do a sales job on me. It seems some of their x rays and recommended procedures are unjustified.

Do not think it professional to ask someone to come in to put a bridge in and have to wait and wait and wait...until 2 hours later I am out of there. Felt discarded and that they were cramming them in...no matter the wait...very unprofessional. Also, the insist on xrays as the cure. Way over the top and unnecessary. Like the gal dentist but she has to follow the leaders rules a shame!

I've only been several times in the last 2 years and somethings not right as the initial dentist i saw left soon after. Dr. Brad is very proud of his "30 years of experience " as he regularly says. I came for a cleaning and as usual with a new dentist something always needs doing or replacing. I said no and never heard the end of it. Well next visit, asked to see a different dentist and Dr. Brandt was a bit less pushy and per the recommended replacement of a filling I decided to let her do it. What a mistake, 3-4 days as she said for "discomfort " is still going on after several months and multiple

Had a highly unprofessional experience here in which the receptionist discussed my account details with other members of the dentistry while I was within earshot, claiming the dentistry had "lost a lot of money" as a result of their previous receptionists incorrectly billing me for the past four years. I was berated by the receptionist in the middle of my appointment about the bill, following her discussion with the other employees in the hallway. Extremely inappropriate, I will not be returning.

Dr. Brandt is a wonderful Dentist she really explains things thoroughly. Dr. Brandt really cares about her patient and their well being and does not force treatment on them but works with you to come up with the plan that works for everyone. The whole staff works well together as a team and is a great place to be.

This is the best dentist in Aurora! The receptionist was very sensitive to my financial situation and helping me understand my insurance. I needed a deep cleaning and she explained every fee and step also explained what was optional and offered payments plans. Brandi and Dr. O’Neill are phenomenal with their bedside manor and truly care about their patients. The whole office from the front to the clinical staff went above and beyond for my care. I will be referring everyone I know!

I LOVE this place! I'm so glad I found them when I needed urgent dental care last year. They are all fabulous. Dr. Smith is THE BOMB!!! They are GREAT with kids. My kids are 2, 4 and 7 and they all love to go to the dentist. They never what anyone (kids especially) to have a poor experience and do an outstanding job. Thanks for all you do Aurora Dentistry. Your facility and staff is simply the best.
