Sandra's Restaurant

We absolutely loved Sandra's! We returned two days later and brought family with us! My boyfriend was born in Germany. The food was very similar to what his mom prepared!
If you are new to German food, we suggest you try their sampler. Each night they feature a different specialty in addition to their full menu. They also offer a selection of German beer and wine.
Next time we are in South Florida we will definitely be back!

My wife and I have been to Sandra‘s on many occasions and the food is always great and Sandra‘s service is excellent. I had to try for dessert the spaghetti ice cream which sounded really crazy until It came to the table. Delicious! What sets Sandras apart from
many other restaurants is the way you get to take food home. Unlike the the Styrofoam boxes that most restaurants uses Sandra offers are paper.foil bowls with a proper lid that seals well so there is no gravy on the floor of your car.

This place has good authentic food and charm. A restaurant is made up of multiple things. When i write reviews and wish to be 100% accurate take into account the business and the customer. So as far as food goes it is good and the atmosphere was charming. If you have a licensed service dog you are not welcome here with open arms. We were not treated as all other guest but were ostracized treated differently. We in fact have a valid very well trained and licensed small very expensive service dog. Our original plans were to eat their outdoor seating we were taken out and left there for almost half

There is no more fun restaurant in the area than Sandra’s. The fun is one thing but the authenticity of the food is another. I’ve traveled all over the country and I would put Sandra’s up against any other German restaurant anywhere. The food is delicious and clearly made from scratch daily. In fact if you want a special go early. In season they always sell out. The food always comes out perfect every time. Whether it’s a soup, a salad, a starter, an entrée or dessert, it’s always perfect every time. Be it family or friends, Sandra’s never disappoints.

Great experience. A must in PG. Wonderful staff and authentic food. Cute atmosphere and live music that isn't overwhelming. You can still hear each other and enjoy your meal together while music is played.

I was a skeptic at first until the first bite of a German restaurant in Punta Gorda. Everything we had was as if we were transported over seas. The European sampler hit my European heritage on the dot with a perfectly cooked schnitzel, bratwurst and a flavorful goulash. Service was a little slow at fiarse but understandable during these times. Drinks were on point and the cranberry bread pudding dessert finished off the meal perfectly.

Not bowled over by this place, everything is Okay but nothing is lip-smacking good where your savoring flavors that have you wanting to come back time and time again for more.
Deep fried sauerkraut balls (2 for $8.99) two golf ball sized said to be filled with cheese and sausage...I guess 😒 served with mild horseradish sauce are pretty good.
Bavarian pretzel doughy, chewy comes with sweet mustard which is a nice condiment also asked for some beer cheese dipping sauce, was charged $2.99 for a small ladle full. Nothing to rave about.

Food is in generous portions and so authentically good! But, make sure to save room for dessert!! We've be going here for several years and absolutely love it. Check their website for entertainment, which I believe is generally on the weekends.

Probably the most flavor of any of the restaurants we have been to in the area. The sauerkraut balls were surprisingly good. The schnitzel was decent as were the sides. Service was super attentive and friendly. It's not Willow Tree Cafe in Sanford but it's not a bad hole in the wall.

Really great service. Love that German restaurant atmosphere. We had a giant pretzel which was amazing, but we were so hungry I forgot to take a picture. We got the beer cheese with it which I would recommend. The waitress even brought us a container to take the extra home. My boyfriend got the schnitzel and I got some sides. All of the food was excellent.
