I live in Des Moines and had a car issue on my way out of town near North Liberty. I searched for the closest mechanic and Quality Car Care was who came up. I called them and told them what was going on, despite being busy, they fit me in so I could safely finish my trip.
Everyone there was very nice, thorough and so helpful. I would recommend to anyone.

I can't say enough about the peace of mind I have knowing that David Hall, the owner, is in charge of all the work, knowledgeable, skillful, accommodates my schedule on little or know notice, and is reasonably priced. Dave and his crew are prompt, thorough, efficient, personable and trustworthy. His crew has been with him for a long time - that's a big deal! Without my asking, they have told me how fortunate they feel to work for him. When it was time for a new-to-me vehicle, Dave accommodated my questions when I dropped in to ask about various vehicles. We moved to Iowa recently from the Chicago suburbs and Quality Car Care happens to be just down the street from our new home. I called about an oil change, and Dave was able to get me in the same day. He explained the pricing difference between normal and synthetic (both of which are ridiculously significantly less than anything you can find in the Chicagoland area). He was incredibly nice, they did a good job and were very fast as I waited. Rare to have a great experience getting an oil change, but I am very glad we've found our go-to car place.

The owner is a great guy and can really carry a conversation. However, he told me, on two occasions, that his oil change services are 25.00 and 24.99, respectively. I am a college student and cheap is always great. So I decided to go with it. I ended up paying 35.00 not including taxes. Mind you, I asked him for his rate, just to make sure, days after the oil change. That was when he told me 24.99. I am just disappointed that he would tell me this twice and charge me 10 bucks extra.

Dave does excellent work. He is the one who diagnosed a problem with my vehicle and didn't charge me because it was a warranty issue. When I took it to the dealer, they still couldn't find the problem even after I told them what Dave said. They fixed other "issues" and charged me, but of course it didn't fix the problem. Finally, the dealer had to call Dave to find out how he diagnosed the problem. He is always fair and honest and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of like so many other car care places have made me feel.

I have a 2008 Honda with 160k miles that I have never had to do anything on, except regular maintenance and brakes. So, I got a few recommendations from a local Facebook group. I called Dave about two separate, non-emergent issues with my car. He fit me in to look at it almost immediately and got my vehicle in within the week. Had a small snafu which he called me about immediately and resolved it promptly. I would recommend QCC to anyone. He's a pleasant guy and his prices were beyond fair. Thanks Dave!
