We moved from Broward to Fort Myers and one of our biggest concerns was finding a vet that would be equal to our vet back in plantation. We where willing to travel the 2 hrs. each way to see our vet until she went back to better her education for her future. So we search and read up on many veterinarians here and came across suburban animal Hospital. Milo our 9 month old pet needed to be neutered and of course we were scared but overall they made this process easy and even our last vet approved of them. Milo came home as if nothing happened and was well taken care of and has healed remarkably.

Found Suburban Animal Hospital purely by accident d/t a medical emergency happening with my elderly parents beloved dog Max. Max actually coded in the car while enroute to a Emergency Veterinarian Hospital. The staff must of thought I was a lunatic given what was going on, but literally they sprang into action and took Max and did what they are trained to do.
Dr. Sandra Gross gave me comfort of my home Veterinarian and she did what she could along with consulting with a Cardiologist who agreed that Max had unfortunately suffered a life threatening condition and unfortunately passed away.

So many thanks to everyone at Suburban Animal Hospital (Dr. Gross, Liz, Vanessa, Peggy, and anyone I may have missed) for helping restore our Odie to good health. He was losing weight, but eating ravenously, vomiting frequently, sleeping less, and just wasn’t himself. Dr. Gross suspected hyperthyroidism, which was confirmed by blood testing. She explained our options fully, which included medication for the rest of his life, a severely restricted diet for the rest of his life, surgical removal of the thyroid tumor that causes the hyperthyroidism, and a one-time injection of radioactive iodine

Here wintering over from MN and my pooch desperately needed grooming. Called and got an appointment about 2 weeks out, which in my opinion is a good sign. Debbie was very nice and did a great job! She will be our go to gal when we are here over future winter months. Bonus: It's right next to the Manatee park, which was a great way to spend time while we waited for our dog to finish getting beautiful.

I moved to Florida from Minnesota. I had a very great veterinary in Minnesota for my dog. I was worried about finding someone as good down here. I have to say Dr. Sandra Gross and her staff were wonderful. Treated us like we were old friends and they were so good with my dog Gracie. She was comfortable there and she was not apprehensive at all when they did her yearly check up and gave her the shots. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary office.

I tried calling this place since 5 am Sunday since the site states that it is open 24 hours on Sunday. No answer and the memory was full. I waited thinking that they must be busy and about an hour later I headed that way with my dog.
while in route, my friend pulled it up on another site and said they were closed. You need to change your hours on yelp or at least have a recorded message explaining your hours. I wasted a lot of time with this while my dog was in pain.

I've been taking my Black Lab Mojo to Dr. Gross and her staff for 3 years now. She's a great vet that runs a nice clinic. I'm a current working dog handler and former working dog handler. I've know many vets over the years and Dr. Gross is one of the best I've had the pleasure if working with. She;s done routine checkups, dental cleaning, and minor surgical procedures. Thankfully we haven't needed her for anything more serious. Their clinic also has grooming and kenneling services.

Just moved to the area, took my dog here for annual exam, staff was very friendly, the wait time was short, the veterinarian was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable. (They did not try to sell me any products that were not necessary like I have experienced at other places in the past) The office charge was slightly more than I expected ($113 just for the Dr exam) but overall I was very pleased with the service.
