That food was nasty and if anyone tell you other wise it’s because they too probably don’t season their food. My chicken was oily and half cooked. My fries was fresh out the grease and looked like greasy fries. I’ll never eat there again. 2 stars cause the staff was accommodating. But ZERO STARS for the food.

Stopped in just to try a couple of items friends had recommended. I went with the shrimp and grits and also purchased fried calamari. Y'all...I made the mistake of tasting the calamari in the car. I almost ate the entire order. It's so fresh & the seasoning is better than Macaroni Grill's recipe. Now the shrimp & grits was a whole experience all by itself. There were subtle cheesy notes and the plump shrimp were cooked to perfection. The coup de grasse was the crumbled bacon that surprises you with flavorful crunchiness. My kids were hovering around me humming that they'd like one more bite. I

I wanted a shrimp poboy. It did NOT disappoint. My husband had the blackened redfish special which was also very good. Wish we had saved room for the fried pies. Next time.
Only negative thing I can say is that they need new cushions in the booths.

Stopped by here during a visit to Little Rock as they offered something everyone in my crew would eat. I would describe it as one of those hole in the wall type of restaurants and usually they are noted at being surprisingly good.
The first thing I noticed was most of the pricing seems reasonable, especially when their signs noted they sell U.S. farmed catfish, which has gotten pretty expensive recently but those meals including it were fairly priced, in my opinion. I got the 3 meat plate and chose catfish, chicken wings, and calamari. The catfish was thin sliced fillets but they were meaty. The

Went for lunch, had the shrimp poboy with onion rings, 10 original buffalo wings with fries, and the corn nuggets for appetizer.
The corn nuggets were really just hushpuppies with corn in them and lacked flavor. The shrimp was fried well but also lacked seasoning, I was a little disappointed that there was no remoulade sauce just mayo. Onion rings were big and also fried well but again lacked seasoning. The wings were good, coated well but not to much, fries were also good.
Overall, everything just needed seasoning. We added salt and it was better but for a Cajun place we expected more flavor

Better PO'boys than New Orleans. Gumbo is great! The fried chicken sandwich (off menu item) is the best anywhere.

One of my regular spots. Excellent ettoufee and poboys. Very good gumbo, dark rue. All the specials are good. Perfectly cooked wings. Order at the register and food is ready 5 min later, 10 min if the are slamed.

The grilled Tuna was Delicious!! The onion rings were huge!!! They also have fried pies! Prices were actually on the lower side I thought.

Hole in the wall eating place with all the flavors. I rate it a 10/10. Food is very hot off the grill and worth every bite. Catfish, rings and awesome fresh cut fries.
Finished it up with a delicious fried pie. I will be making a return visit soon.

Passing through Little Rock and found a great spot to eat thanks to the reviews. My wife and I both had the three meat combo dinner baskets. We both had fish, shrimp and wings. She had barbecue and I had Lemon pepper. The meals also came with hush puppies, coleslaw and fresh cut french fries. We finished with a couple of fried pies. Let me tell you, everything was delicious and you get a lot of food. The service was as good as the food. Give them a try, it’s well worth it.

We read the reviews before ordering so we were pretty excited to try them. Especially coming from Louisiana and hurricane Ida..we wanted something familiar.
The food was bland . Everything tasted greasy or was greasy. Maybe we went on a bad day .I always believe in giving people second chances. I may try them out again before we leave to give my final decision. But as for now not impressed.

Had a delicious dinner of Blackened redfish, rice and veggies. Chicken tenders and grilled cheese for the little ones. Red beans and rice, Cole slaw, hush puppies, etc etc. All was good. The place is not fancy but I go places because the food is good. This was a great dinner and I will be back. The staff was super nice and all were working hard to help the steady line of people coming in. Glad I found it!

My favorite catfish spot in LR. I go out of my way to eat there every chance I get while I'm in town. Great food, great service. Love the gumbo as well.

Consistenly great seafood! Friendly staff, homey atmosphere. And they have beer and wine! You should try it - good food and no stress. Just like the at the beach.

Lazy Pete's is one of my favorite places to eat when I come home. I haven't once been dissatisfied. They have such a Friendly staff, food is always hot and freshly cooked once it's ordered with a surprisingly quick wait time. You can't go wrong with any of their fried favs... shrimp, wings, catfish and their fries and fried okra!!! Man you don't know what you're missing. They're that little hole in the wall spot, one of my must-go-to places to eat when I Little Rock. and I'm not alone....

Best seafood in central arkansas hands down. We come here fairly often. My husband is hooked on the oysters and I love the fried pickles, fresh vegetables, and fried fish. Mmm I'm in Florida right now writing this review dreaming of being back home to eat at Pete's!!

Husband and I had catfish dinners that came with what seemed like hand cut fries, coleslaw, a chunk of white onion, and fresh lemon.

SO delicious! The fry on the catfish and fries was perfect! Not greasy at all. The catfish breading had nice seasoning. The outside was nice and crisp and the fish itself was a very good, very light texture and flavor.

The fries seemed hand cut and were fried perfectly (to me), crisp and the right amount of salt. The coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet, which is what I love for coleslaw.

Service and cleanliness is ok. However, the boiled shrimps and oysters were really fresh! I'm impressed with the quality and the dry seasoning was really tasty. This factor bumped it up to 4 stars. Worth a visit!

Fantastic southern food, but even better service. We've come to eat here once a week for a month now for the excellent food and the friendliest service we've had in Little Rock since we moved here a year ago. Can't go wrong with the shrimp & grits!

My wife and I ate here today. Some of the best boiled shrimp I have had anywhere including New Orleans! My wife's salmon was outstanding! We will eat here every time we come to Little Rock.

Catfish was good. Coleslaw and Red bean and Rice was mediocre. Hush puppies might be the best I've ever had. But they left out all sauces. 7 piece basket and half a pound of catfish and zero tartar sauce on our to go order. Some Tabasco would have been nice too. Pretty much ruined the experience.

Nothing lazy about this place. Fast service. The fried green tomatoes were so good. Shrimp, fish, wings all fried to perfection! I really appreciated the guy who was walking around making sure we were good. I don't know if he worked in the back or front but he managed the front area well. Very humble and nice...he took our plates once we finished and thanked us for coming.

Quick service. You order at the counter and then pick up your food. There isn't a lot of seating especially with the Covid restrictions. Overall the inside is very tiny about 6-7 booths on each side of the restaurant and that's it. They have a lunch special menu that has a lot of options.

Cozy space with excellent service. I had been craving Cajun food for a while and while they didn't disappoint it was lackluster and left something to be desired. Cajun food has a certain flavor pop and it didn't have that.

Amazing food! I was very impressed. They are following all Covid guidelines and working their tails off. I had the blackened reddfish and it was fresh and flavorful. My husband had the fried crawfish tail dinner plate and it was fried to perfection. The homemade fries are seasoned perfectly. I love the blacked season kick! I had the grilled veggies which were fresh and very colorful. I also had the fried okra and it was nice and crunchy. Their sauces are made in house and the prices are very reasonable. I love places like this.

So yummy! We came in from out of state. The kids had popcorn shrimp, and we had a crawfish poboy and wings/fried shrimp. The shrimp and poboy were fantastic! The coleslaw was boring- not homemade- but the French fried were fried perfectly. And the hush puppies are The best I've had at a restaurant.
Overall a great experience! We will be back

Really nice quiet place. They had my food out in a timely manner. The shrimp, fish & wings are good. Okra was pretty good. Ah yea the grilled veggies was on point also.

Hand battered, served hot...the absolute definition of fried seafood...plus lots more on the menu...beer is literally iced down...really recommend you cut to the chase and come get it real here at Lazy Pete's.

But Pete, seriously man, you get six stars for food but negative one for atmosphere...thus the five star rating. Get off your couch and go find some new digs without the torn seats and one that has light fixture.

Also...having a fish tank in a seafood restaurant is like have a cow eating grass in front of a steak house.
