My family and I were devastated over the unexpected passing of my uncle, who lived in NYC for over 45 years. He lived on the upper west side so my family and I, who are from out of town, wanted to locate a funeral home that was close to my uncle's church and home. Unfortunately, we've been through the funeral arrangement process before with my father's passing 5 years ago. The worst funeral home. They handled my grandfather's service and it was a terrible experience. We signed over the insurance policy and on the day of the funeral, because of a storm in the south they said there was a delay in getting the insurance money. They called the widow on the way to the viewing and told her to go home for her credit card. They approached us at the casket through the night tapping on our shoulders for payment and refused to give us a mic to share find memories about our grandfather. What made this so unfair is we had prepared for this service 6 months prior when it was

My mom died during the covid pandemic and no funeral home was accepting bodies for cremations but we found this place that charged us $700 more than average but we were desperate so it was ok. They told us she would be cremated in a week and that never happened and we had to hunt them down for answers after we paid them. Mike was ignoring all calls so we had to show up for him to continuously change the date. So after about a month she was supposed to finally be cremated but after 2 weeks we still didn't have her remains back to calling and hunting them down for answers and only after

Love and family are what come to mind when I think about Trumbos funeral chapel. We were there at a time of sadness losing a beloved family member. Our spirit's were lifted and we left gaining 2 wonderful people that made us feel like a part of their family. The words of Reverend Ferguson gave comfort to our hearts and souls. I highly recommend for a place to put your loved one to rest. Care, respect and love are given to every service

I buried my mother on May 29, 2019. I knew from past experience, that Trumbo Funeral Chapel was the only place for my mother. Mr. Telesford was extremely professional, with the ability to put me at ease. He never made me feel rushed to make any decisions and was so understanding of my dealing with family mishaps.
Seeing how stressed I was, most funeral directors would have taken full advantage of me, but Mr. Telesford was understandable.
I received kindness, professionalism and a true caring from each staff. I was so comfortable making arrangements that I felt like I was sitting in my livingroom
