Our experiences working with Lora have been excellent. We worked with Lora to assist our older child in finding a college that was a better fit for them after finding the school their high school counselor pushed them towards was a terrible fit. With Lora's help our older child has found a school that they call home and they are thriving. Lora is working with our younger child too - he is still in high school and has had some medical issues that have impacted his performance. Lora has been steadfast in her focus on him, and has helped him to stay positive and hopeful that she will help him find

I want to take this opportunity to recommend Lora Lewis Consulting as you are working through the challenges of the college search. It is a daunting exercise, filled with many road blocks. Lora really helps get through all the scary stuff and net it down to what you are looking for. I learn differently and had some special needs that had to be considered. We were able to get through the testing, essay part and the narrowing down schools process so much more effectively because of Laura's counsel. She was a great counselor as well as cheerleader throughout the process. And since we were doing this

Lora worked with both my high school son on his college applications and my daughter on her transfer applications. Our experience working with Lora was great! Lora is skilled at figuring out with each student what schools would be a great fit for them both academically and personally. Both of my kids are heading to schools in the fall that seem like a perfect fit for each of them. Lora takes the time to get to know the student and then structures her support and services around that student. We've worked with other college counselors, but our experience with Lora was the best.
