My photographic passion is the pursuit of capturing the true essence of who we are and the world around us. It is my belief that the separation we feel from the world and each other is an illusion created by our ignorance and fear. As this illusion fades what remains is the spirit that connects us all.
I conceptualize this spirit as the light of love. In my portraits I desire to capture a moment that reveals an aspect of the inner life of the individual. In my landscapes I seek to not only reveal the inherent beauty of the earth but also a moment that will allow us a sense of connection to something much larger than ourselves.

Services
The "Daily Dose" was started many years ago as a means of sharing wisdom and thought from all traditions and cultures. It consisted of two quotes that were sent out to hundreds of people all over the world. After 9/11/01 photographs were included with each dose. The initial series of photographs were from Afghanistan and they were intended to assist people to better understand that part of the world that we were about to attack.
The Wandering Hinjew is a memoir in which I take my readers around the world with my images and stories of far flung places in order to uncover some truths about my existence and perhaps theirs. I explore the role that shame plays in our lives and relationships. I also share my personal journey to overcome my own shame and my goal of living my life in harmony with my emerging awareness of my own authentic self.
