A minimum of 12 hours notice is required when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. I had some back issues that were lingering longer than I expected after a few chiropractor trips it seems that my issue would become better for a few days then start acting up again. Erica mentioned that my back on the opposite side of the issue was compensating for my bad side and didn’t allow me to relax, which makes complete sense. With My back issue ongoing I couldn’t relax having a family, missing work and everyday issues recovery was slow. Erica is amazing, patient, very professional and very understanding as well as concerned for your well being. I woke up today better as I slept better

Erica of Ritual Massage is the best of the best. Not only is she an incredible therapist but every part of the massage experience has been carefully considered. It's all in the details-the essential oil blends, the hot stones, the tea and chocolate, the environment of her sweet studio-it feels like heaven!! Erica gave an amazing massage. She was so thoughtful and intentional with the massage and offered so many different elements. The hot stones were a wonderful touch. The oils she used smelled awesome and the peppermint head massage was a wonderful way to end the massage. She also gave me delicious tea and chocolates that complemented the smells of the oils. The massage room was very welcoming and relaxing (she has a awesome green thumb). I usually only make it to one massage a year but I plan to come back several times to see her.

As a massage therapist myself I've had a LOT of massages that left me feeling feeling underwhelmed and I've also been worked on by truly great therapists. That being said, Erica has great energy and her massage is world class. She combined the perfect depth of work (checking in with me to see if I wanted more or less pressure) with the soothing body artistry of someone who deeply cares about the people they serve. Great use of hot stones and warm towels.

I have been to many massage therapists and Erica at Ritual Massage is the best by far. Her technical skills are amazing and the pressure is always perfect, but beyond that she also brings an element of care and emotion into her massages that makes it such a unique and truly therapeutic experience. Erica is such a treasure, as a masseuse and as a human. This unsuspecting building in Reno now holds a sanctuary. It can be a tiny bit confusing getting to the correct door, but once you're there, the minimal and warm room is very inviting and relaxing. Erica's energy alone is healing, and her massage is on point.
