Our in-house production staff, SageMedia produces live streams viewing of our services at the families request. All gatherings at Murray Brothers Funeral Home implement adherence to 6' social distancing and guest and staff are required to wear protective mask. This place is very unprofessional. My grandmother was sent here just to be embalmed [we are from another state] somehow Robert Murray is holding my grandmother’s body hostage to satisfy the dirty politician, Kenny A Johnson’s wishes. My grandmother has a living will so we as a family were just following her wishes of the will. Kenny Johnson, her son, has not seen his mother in years and when he did he spoke to her so harshly while she was sick! Because of this he was officially DISINHERITED from the will. My family is heart broken over this, why would the Murray brothers involve themselves

They had my loved ones birthday wrong and the time of the funeral was posted wrong. Family members arrived 2 hrs early and had to leave before the funeral because they made arrangements off of the funeral home calendar. We even called ahead of time to be told the service was at a posted time. Family couldn't even get 1 obituary after travel all that way to turn around.

Murray Brothers is not just a funeral home, they are truly family. I had the pleasure of working with Allie. As a person overwhelmed with grief and never putting on a funeral, Allie guided me through every pitfall and solved most problems before they even happened. She was literally on call night and day to ensure deadlines were met. I will never be able to thank Allie for guaranteeing my aunt was laid to rest in a graceful manner but to simply say thank you.

Please trust the other reviews. This is not the place to give you good or professional services in your time of need. They are quick to ask for money, even during the service but will take months to respond to any questions you have or provide you with a death certificate. I’ve been waiting 3 months and still have no documentation. Even went to the court house and was told that they have received nothing from Murray Brothers. We also held the service here and they didn't follow the program we created. All in all this was a horrible experience and I’d recommend taking your service anywhere else

I recommend going with ANY other funeral home other than Murray Brothers. My family has been waiting for a death certificate for my father for 4 months. They don’t even communicate with you and they are extremely unprofessional. They take advantage of grieving families and should be ashamed. We paid upfront and they have been giving us the run around. Extremely disappointed that this was our experience with the one of the supposed best funeral homes in Atlanta.

I watched a service remotely from your funeral home today. Your facilities are beautiful. Thanks for the access through the Vimeo feed. Because of distance and the pandemic, this was a welcomed feature. I would encourage you, however, to work on your sound system. Even taking into consideration the wearing of masks, it was difficult to make out what the people were saying. Also, the keyboardist overpowered the singers. You have a great product. Work on making it even better.
