Services
Le Yaca started in 1964/65, in a little village, in the French Alps. This little village, Le Praz, is located about 8 kilometers below a now very international ski resort: Courchevel. At the time, it was just a promising skiing destination. When Gerard Gormier showed Daniele Bourderau a house in the village, given to him by his father, with a big fireplace, right away she knew it would make a charming and interesting restaurant.

While the cuisine and service was excellent, when I noticed I was overcharged for the bottle of St. Julien I had ordered and told I needed to speak with the Owner who appeared at my table fifteen minutes later, I was appalled at her unbelievably crude, I'll-mannered, inappropriate behavior!
Fine dining is my reprieve from the too often uncivilized world we now live in, and to be treated in such a manner in a fine dining restaurant is simply shocking and inexcusable!

Pros - staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. We had brunch and my wife and I both really enjoyed our food. One of the best brunch meals that I have had.
The food - I had soup of the day which was a fennel soup. It was my favorite thing I had all weekend during our visit. The scallops and crab Benedict were well prepared and I left feeling full and it was great to start our Saturday our with such a great experience.

My husband and I have been there for a total of 4 times (the first was when we had gotten engaged), the 2nd time was after we got married with our intimate family. But every single time we are blown away by how 1) amazing the food is (presentation and quality as well as options) 2) attentive staff and 3) if you're a sweet tooth you're in for a real treat. Do yourself a favor and book today because you will not be disappointed and I guarantee you that you will say "I'm coming back" ;)

We thought it would be good, but we did not expect it to be this good. Everything, from the lentil soup to the halibut to the desserts (see photos of creme brulee, tarte aux pommes, and chocolate cake) were superb. Definitely a standout dinner. And, what pleasure to talk with the General Manager, Howard Saunders, about the restaurant, his own experiences, and life in general. We're very grateful for this find, and we WILL be back!

Such an amazing place food was fantastic and staff always fantastic the first time we went we didn't know what to expect we went based on the reviews but I have to say I'm so happy we did. We keep going back the food it's just amazing and the service it's fantastic I went with my service dog they sat us at the patio and the staff were super accommodating and great love this place

We were in Williamsburg VA celebrating my 70Th Birthday Trip. Started in Charleston SC and end up for five nights at the Williamsburg Inn. Alexander our Bellmen at the Inn recommend us to get the Crab Cake as an appetizer because we had to have it he said it's the best he's ever had. Well we did and he was so right. Our entire meal from the crab cake to the Steak dish onion soup house salad was one of the most amazing meals we had on our 10 day journey.

We enjoyed our visit yet again. My husband and I showed up about 30 mins early, we were going to just sit at the bar until our reservation time but they were able to seat us immediately. We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here because of experience when we celebrated our wedding day by having dinner here last year. The food was amazing, staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. I think we will start a tradition by coming back every year.

We both opted for the $27 three-course Prix Fixe menu. I started with the Soupe a L'Oignon: a Mountain-Style French Onion Soup. This soup does not have croutons nor a melted slab of cheese on top instead it has a small pile of grated cheese. It was also creamier than I associate with French onion soup. My husband chose the Salade Verte House Salad, Dijon Vinaigrette which he found to be very ordinary.

Wonderful time dining here. Beginning to end. Charles was attentive, informative and kind. We enjoyed the pace Of dinner and the food was lovely. We have food restrictions, so for us the menu only allowed for a few items. We selected from their offerings, ensured they would be able to comply with our restrictions- they did gladly.
I ordered salad, very simply but delicious. French bread crusty with soft middle. My husband enjoyed French onion soup- sort of sweet, but we aren't doing much sugar these days so that could be it.

Absolutely wonderful experience here! I kept hearing such great things and I’m so glad I finally came to try for myself! We made reservations and there was no wait at all. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and location are all incredible! We came here for the three course lunch special, I had the salmon and my husband had the pork, both are delicious! The desserts are so yummy and hard to choose from! We already can’t wait to come back again!

Came here for my anniversary and everything was incredible, from the service to the ambiance to the delicious menu. They have a three course meal and lamb special on Thursdays which was absolutely delicious, as well as prix fixe and a la carte menus with a huge wine selection. The salmon was the best I’ve ever had, and the onion soup is a must have! Such a great spot—hope to be back.

On a pleasure trip to Williamsburg, our son, from Richmond, suggested we have brunch at Le Yaca. It is located at the Shops at High Street. Of course, I searched the menu for a brunch, our preferred time. What an amazing selection of foods. Each one of the four of us chose a different item.

We ordered a bottle of wine from 2010, they brought us 2011. We asked for a discount which we got.
