The food was great, but it was a busy night with 2 large groups & several walk in to-go orders, plus online orders. There was only 1 person working, who fortunately brought his son to assist. There were only 2 of us and it took an hour for our food to come, then several minutes before we got silverware. He was so busy running around just trying to get orders & food prepared, that overall service suffered, such as refills, silverware, & napkins. We stopped in for dinner before seeing a show at Santander PAC and ended up being late because the whole experience took over 90 minutes.

This is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in this area. I got carnitas tacos and they were the best I’ve had in a long time. The perfect street taco. The flavors were simple and delicious. Forgot to take my photo before I took out some of the meat (I don’t like my tacos too loaded) so don’t be deceived they give good portions of meats. My mom and sister got the tacos al Pastor and they loved theirs too. This is my new favorite stop for Mexican food!

The day I gave birth to my child, my husband told me he would get me anything I wanted for dinner. I wanted La Abuela. They have the BEST Mexican food in the area! Everything is bursting with flavor from the entrees to the chips that come with the guacamole and everything in between! The people who work here are amazing and their costumer service is excellent! I have never ordered anything I haven't liked from here. Unfortunately, we live a pretty far drive from the restaurant, so we don't get to indulge as often as I would like.
