We have been trying Stockton chinese restaurants and ordering what I call the Stockton special. Mongolian beef, general tso/house chicken, steamed rice, dumplings, soup. It's a family deal at most restaurants in town. This place is the first that does fried dumplings as the appetiser and they were great. My wife subbed in the hot and sour soup instead of the sizzling rice and she said it was ok. The house chicken was sweet but pretty bland. The Mongolian beef was good and had a powerful wok hei flavor, which was nice.
Overall, there are better Stockton specials out there than Tsing Tao's rendition

The food is very good for a simple chinese food. Is more Americanize than traditional Chinese food. My first visit was with my son. We order lunch plates, on a Saturday which not lot Chinese restaurant have them or charge you $1 or $2 for it.
He order BBQ Chow Mein with egg fried rice and I order Eight Delicacies w/steam rice
And on side their Plum sauce noodles and fried chicken . It was very good and plum sauce noodles was excellent. My son is picky eater and he.love the noodles. I highly recommend the Plum Sauce Noodles.

Tsing has always been good Chinese food although the family is Korean and serves a few Korean style dishes. Everybody is friendly and the service is good. The only downside is that prices have gone considerably up in the last few months. Unfortunately this means fewer visits as everyone's budget is pressed!

My experience was more than great. Originally made my reservation for 5. Went down to 2 and at the last minute went back to 4, then 5, then 6. The place was packed yet the staff made room for us. I know we were being a pain yet staff was more then helpful. The food was great and service was wonderful. Old friends catching up and weren't rushed at all. All around great experience.
