In providing general pet medicine, our veterinary staff is capable of diagnosing and treating a variety of pet medical needs. Our approach to diagnostic and therapeutic services is meant to allow you and your pet increased comfort while maintaining confidence that you are in capable hands. At our veterinary office, we take corresponding safety precautions and observe all sanitation standards.
Acupuncture is the traditional Chinese medicine of inserting thin metal needles into various areas of the body, stimulating key anatomical points. It can be used to aid sedation, manage pain, supplement surgical procedures, or it can be a therapy on its own. By offering our pet patients acupuncture therapy, we aim to release toxins through an alternative, non-medicated method of healing and rehabilitation.
Although we are not staffed with a board certified Cardiologist, we do offer general medical diagnostics and treatments for heart and lung diseases. Our office is dedicated to providing pets with compassionate care. In offering some cardiology services, we can better evaluate and treat heart and lung diseases, working towards improving quality of life.

Not happy at all. Here I thought this vet office was different, but nope, all they want is your money. I have spent THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars here over the years. I have 12 animals and have rescued many and spent my own money on caring for the abandoned animals I have found. Soooo…. One of my dogs has chronic ear infections from being… allergic to over 180 different food And environmental factors. They know my moms dogs and they take care of my mom as an owner as well as the pets. They are very flexible and are willing to work with her. My mom loves that dr McKenzie takes such him good care of her dogs. 650 dollars for an XRay and heart worm test. Couldn't afford the treatment because the diagnosis was outrageous. My dog has now died. In fact another dog died in the parking lot the day we went to the Vet! Getting a Vet tech to come outside for Emergency help took some yelling! If you have an EMERGENCY these people move SLOW!! XRay is old technology for a steep price at this place! Be prepared to pay a ridiculous bill!

I am beyond grateful to the folks at Foothills Animal Hospital. For the past month I've had zero luck tracking down the prescription cat food both of my cats need (I'd tried online, all of the local stores that normally carry it, and even my regular vet hasn't been able to get it in for the last 2 weeks). We were down to a couple of days of food and Foothills Animal Hospital came through with a case even though we're not current customers. Couldn't have had a better experience.

We brought our 9-month-old puppy in after she got ahold of my mom's joint. Such a frightening time for us as we were out of town visiting at the river when the puppy because very lethargic and limp, I could barely feel her heartbeat. We rushed her to Yuma (1.5 hours away) and Foothills was amazing with her. They let us call multiple times that evening to check on her and by the next morning she was good as new. We are very thankful they were able to squeeze us in on a holiday no less. Thanks Foothills!

Wow. Okay let me tell you how amazed I am at this place. My labrador retriever had torn her ACL a few years back and has always had some limping problems after any rigorous activity. Recently, it had gotten a bit worse and I thought it was time to look into surgery. After some xrays and manipulation of the knee, I was told that she would be a good candidate for the ACL repair surgery. I was hesitant to do the surgery but the price was so fair and reasonable at Foothills Animal Hospital (FAH) that it completely justified it. Fast forward to the day of surgery. I am an emotional wreck at baseline

I brought my 5 yr old schnauzer to Foothills for the first time today to get vaccines updated and have a bump checked. Let me tell you, the visit surpassed my expectations! My technician, Marissa, was amazing with my dog and Dr Iverson couldn't have been better!! This is now my permanent veterinary home. Highly recommend!!

I had been looking for a new vet because I moved from downtown and my dog is a total pain in the car so driving there wasn't an option I was willing to deal with.
Anyway, after a recommendation from my Yelp friend, Meldie, I called here and they were able to get him in the same day.
This place was a breath of fresh air and everyone was so friendly, personable, kind and helpful.
Chris, at the front desk found a mistake made by the Vet I had taken Jack to the week prior that even I hadn't caught. Carrie was just as helpful when I called earlier in the day to get a same day appointment

I can't say enough nice things about this place. They've squeezed me in numerous times when my dog was having an emergency. All the doctors are very professional and explain everything very clearly and in detail. I never walk away feeling unsure about what's going on with my dog. Thanks to all the staff + docs!

This is veterinary clinic is awesome, the front desk is the best, kind, prompt and they've all been there for years, so they know their clients, furry and human. Dr. Johnson is awesome, she takes wonderful care of my doggies. Their prices are pretty much on par (look..vet service is expensive, it just is)..but this office goes above and beyond not to line item nickle and dime. I have a doggie who is treated for a chronic condition and they are very mindful of costs which I so appreciate. I am thrilled I found this place so many years ago.

I have seen pets come in and out of this place. Not one animal look scared or frightened of this place. Seen the owners always happy coming here and leaving. As for the staff never seen more of a pleasant group. Vet Doctors and Vet Techs. I have even seem them care when it really matters. Love your Pet love your Vet.
