Approximately 1% of applicants are denied a security clearance. This however does not factor in people who receive a Statement of Reasons (SOR), and simply do not respond. The military defense lawyers at National Security Law Firm provide aggressive and highly experienced court-martial and UCMJ representation.

If your Global Entry application has been rejected, you should promptly consult with an experienced Global Entry appeal lawyer. You can still fight and be admitted to the program. If you were denied a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), you should contact an experienced TWIC lawyer today.
Services
Our attorneys specialize in security clearance appeals. They have dedicated their careers to learning the entire security clearance process from start to finish. They started by working for the federal government before entering private practice.

Their extensive experience working for the federal government includes over eight years advising clients on revoking and suspending an employee's security clearance, reporting derogatory information, representing clients in their response to a Statement of Reasons (SOR), and serving in a joint duty assignment for the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA).
As a military service member or veteran, you and your family have sacrificed a great deal. As a way of saying "thank you, " there are a multitude of benefits, programs, and discounts that you and your loved ones are entitled to. There are so many benefits available that, chances are, you might be overlooking some major opportunities to invest, plan, and save.
Approximately 1% of applicants are denied a security clearance. This statistic is misleading because the vast majority of applicants with disqualifying and/or derogatory information will chose to not respond to the Statement of Reasons (SOR) that is issued by the Central Adjudicative Facility. The SOR will initially recommend a denial, but provide an opportunity to refute the recommendation.
The military defense lawyers at National Security Law Firm provide aggressive and highly experienced court-martial and UCMJ representation. Moreover, we defend Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard cases worldwide, at any military facility in the world. Thus - regardless of your physical location or service branch- our military defense lawyers can handle your military criminal law case.
According to the TSA, approximately 3-5% of the roughly 30,000 applicants that apply for Global Entry status every month will be denied. Customs and Border Protection ("CBP") in most cases will issue a written reason for the denial, but this is not always the case. In some cases, the applicant will have to pursue various avenues in an attempt to find out the reason for the denial.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Brett and the National Security Law Firm team for the work they have done for me. They were incredibly responsive, attentive to my needs, and relieved me of the stress and anxiety associated with the security clearance process. My only regret is not contacting them sooner. If your career depends on a security clearance do not hesitate to contact Brett and his team they will take care of all your needs.

In need of a TWIC, but having been rejected by the TSA for having a disqualifying offense, I reached out to the National Security Law Firm for help in drafting a waiver request to present to TSA.
They responded in a very timely way with an extremely well thought out draft, that was appropriately supported by documentation. It resulted in my waiver request being approved.
Brett and Alex, the attorneys that I dealt with, are straight shooters that were responsive to my needs.
When having to deal with the TSA, if you want it done right, don't mess around, use the National Security Law Firm.

My job was at stake when my security clearance was denied. I had a super-challenging case and even I thought I would likely never prevail. It was going to take a small miracle.
The trusted professional at National Security Law firm went to great lengths to ensure my case got the detailed attention it needed. They never once judged me for my questionable past and they did everything in their power to ensure my case was represented fairly.
It was not an easy fight, but against all odds we managed to achieve a stunning victory! I am still amazed at how things went down. : )
Best of all Carl and

Brett and his team are incredible! If you run into any problems with TSA or any time of security clearance, contact Brett. We found National Security Law Firm by their outstanding google reviews and I can attest they did not disappoint with my case. TSA has a tendency to automatically deny eligibility for all and any reason. Brett and his team responded quickly to deadlines, requested extensions, provided documentation to TSA. I can now say, my TWIC card is back in active state and I have my Captain's license. Thank you Brett and Team!

Single handily saved my career.
The immediate professionalism, and ability to adapt to changes on the fly made Carl the perfect choice for the job. His tact and knowledge, as well as honesty are second to none.
I hope I am never in the situation to have to call this law firm again, but it would be my first choice should something else arise.

I had a great experience right from the initial consultation. Brett was attentive and punctual-- but what really stood out was his deep understanding of both the general military and the little details behind all aspects of acquiring/maintaining a security clearance via the military route.

National Security Law Firm is one of the most professional firm I had dealt with in recent years. Our company received a hold from the Customs and Boarder Protections in one of our shipments that was shipped via UPS. Since the custom broker from UPS was little to no help at all, we turn to National Security Law Firm for help. Brett immediately took the matter to his hand. He answered my emails late at night, challenge UPS custom brokers, and sent in the response to CBP on our behalf. With Brett and his team's professional knowledge and Brett's personal touch, at the end, our case was settled in
