An all-inclusive assessment of your oral health is performed by one of our doctors using our state-of-the-art technology to perform a diagnosis, treatment planning, methods of implementation, and follow-up evaluation. Digital Radiographs (Digital X-ray's) provide our dentists and dental hy with essential information to aid and supplement clinical findings that may not be visible during a regular dental exam.
Digital radiographs have revolutionized the way dental professionals are able to detect, diagnose, treat, and monitor oral conditions and diseases. The use of this revolutionary technology promotes radiation safety with the use of specialized plates that are more sensitive to X-ray beams, thus requiring 60 to 90 percent less radiation than traditional film.
Invisalign provides an esthetic approach to orthodontic therapy. This modern approach has revolutionized the field of orthodontics with clear and removable aligners that provide a more hygienic teeth straightening system. Each case is digitally planned and customized to your needs by Dr. Shafiei even before you begin wearing your aligners!
Dental implants are titanium anchors that are surgically embedded into either the upper or lower jaw bone and meant to replace the natural root structure of a tooth. These posts have grooves along the side, much like a screw, that allows the bone to integrate around these grooves and create a strong hold on the implant; much like the bone would for natural roots.

This office is fantastic. Friendly, clean, organized, prepared, and always so helpful. I have been coming here for a couple of years now and will continue to make the trek down to Irvine to Spectrum Dentistry and Dr. Shafiei. This visit was a big one. Started two teeth implants. Nerves were high, but Dr. Shafiei was comforting and I could tell she was ready for the procedure. I had a unique visit and opportunity on this visit to have another dentist observing the procedure so, as a naturally curious person, I got to hear the details on what Dr. was doing. I have been a patient of Spectrum Dentistry for over 10 years and have referred my family, friends, and co-workers. Dr. Shafiei and her team have taken care of us as if we were family. I have been a patient with Dr. Shafiel and staff for 6 years. I wish it had been for 26 years! They are just the most caring, gentle, competent people you can ever imagine. Very nice staff, and calm atmosphere. Dr. Shafiei was wonderful, and understanding. I actually went in last winter, but never got around to posting a review, so I am doing it now. I called as an emergency due to one of my wisdom teeth. I was in pain, the left side of my face was swollen, I could barely open my jaw to speak. I was able to get in the same day that I scheduled. I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving for my appointment. Very pleased with the sheer politeness and kindness of the entire staff that helped me out that day. Thank you.
