She attended Auburn University getting her B.S. degree in Microbiology and her Doctorate degree with honors in Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
As a new client of our Animal Hospital in Jacksonville, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

I took my little 8 week puppy Bailey into Deerwood Animal Clinic this morning and I had a great experience! The staff was more than friendly with my puppy and I could tell they genuinely cared about her well-being. Dr.Williams was polite and professional and explained everything very clearly. I’m glad I chose this veterinarian clinic for my puppy.

As new patients we were delighted with the services provided at the clinic. Before our appointment they broke down the process and set our expectations for how the visit would go. They also sent an estimate with a break down of the individual costs. Once we actually got to our appointment the staff was super friendly and loving to our two pups. Meredith and Gypsy had an easy transition to their new clinic being provided many treats and pets before and after their vaccines. You can tell Dr.Williams genuinely enjoys what she does. She listened to our concerns and made sure to bring them up throughout

I am new to the area and am already in love with this vet! Not only are they all very sweet, but they make it very easy to feel comfortable trusting them with your fur baby! I tend to get very neurotic and over-protective of my pup and they were very easy to communicate with! We’ve been to a lot of different vets and this is by far the best experience we’ve had!

My cats have been feline patients at Deerwood Animal Clinic for over 16 years. The staff and doctor are very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to my cats when the need arises for a feline exam. They treat each of my cats as if it were their own, and they take time to explain any diagnoses and treatment plans as a result of any health issues. I have received follow-up phone calls to inquire how the cats are doing after office visits. My last two visits were during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the office provided curb-side service due to the lobby being closed for safety reasons. I must say, the

My dog was very ill and I called them on a Tuesday afternoon and received an appointment for the next morning. The staff was friendly from the beginning to the end and they demonstrated a genuine concern for my dog. They were very thorough in explaining everything that was needed and all that had to be done to bring him back to health. Due to the Covid-19, the Vet was awesome as well with the live video chat while my dog was in the exam room and she explained everything with patience and concern. I will always go back to them if I have any issues.

Her first family named her Spirit after finding and rescuing her when she was only 3-4 months old. She was homeless and very sick needing emergency surgery to live. They said her spirit to live was so strong it was the perfect name for her.
