As a board certified acupuncturist and massage therapist, I focus on helping my clients rejuvenate mind, body and spirit in an effort to restore balance and achieve serenity. I graduated from Bastyr University in the state of Washington in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Acupuncture.
I obtained a certificate in massage therapy from Brenneke School of Massage in 2006. I also completed a two year certificate program for Chinese Herbs at the Maryland Institute of Integrative Health in 2018. In addition, I am an Usui Level 3 shamanic reiki practitioner. I have been currently undergoing various classes in shamanism and energy work.

Services
These are prompt pay discounted rates that are only applicable if paid at the time of service. As of 8/1/21, Amber will no longer be accepting medical insurance. If you have acupuncture benefits under your insurance plan, Amber can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Both massage and acupuncture are beneficial for any age range. Massage would typically be a 30 minute session until they reach the age of 14 or so when they can lay still on the table for an hour. I practice several different styles of massage therapy including Swedish/relaxation, deep tissue, injury treatment, acupressure, pregnancy/prenatal massage, Tui Na, hot stone and some cranio sacral.

I started acupuncture treatments with Amber in Fall 2016. I have been very impressed with Amber's skills, how thorough she is, and with her genuine concern for my health and well-being. It was clear to me from the start that she is sincerely interested in helping her clients to feel better and to take control of their health. She takes the time to really listen to you, is very thorough and knowledgeable, and is also willing to go the extra mile to find additional helpful information for her clients. For example, researching specific healing herbs.

Amber is a qualified and professional practitioner. I have been regularly scheduling appointments with Amber for the last two years for both acupuncture and massage. I find her to be compassionate and experienced in the various treatment modalities she offers. She consistently takes the time to actively listen while I discuss my issues, and plans her treatments accordingly. Cupping is one of my favorites, and consistently brings relief. We are pleased that she suggests exercises, herbs and preparations we can use at home to improve our well being. Amber definitely goes the extra mile in treating

Started seeing Amber 4 sessions ago and am extremely pleased. I am one that requires bi weekly massage as therapy for past head and neck trauma, so I have been through a few therapists to find the right one for me. Her mixture of cupping and massage is exactly what I need to give me the relief I need. Very professional, always on time, easy to use appointment scheduling and reminders and the added bonus is she is also a licensed acupuncturist.

I have been looking for a great Accupunrture practitioner in the area for years! This is it. Very professional (easy to schedule, great website, on times, paperwork ready ect). The treatment room was very clean and relaxing, perfect actually. I had been suffering with an injury for several weeks and had three massages, physical therapy and multiple chiropractic appointments and had very little relief. I got the cupping, massage and Accupunrture combo and after the Accupunrture alone I had nearly complete relief. The cupping and massage were fantastic and I was pain free for the first time I. a

Amber was so kind and was willing to work with me on insurance questions after I got in a car accident. She was very professional about the massage itself, explaining exactly what I could expect, and answering questions I had as they came up. Her massage technique was perfect - not too hard or gentle. I felt very happy and relaxed afterward and I've been in quite a bit of pain the last few days.
It was easy to find and park, and even if you don't have insurance the rates are great! Do yourself a favor and go see Amber!

Seriously amazing massage with good energy! I loved all the different techniques Amber used. Her techniques were off the hook! I felt like I was in heaven. I could feel my muscles getting looser and looser. The pressure was perfect and she did awesome neck work.
I had some insurance problem but she helped me to solve the problem immediately.
I have visited only once so far since it is little hard to make an appointment but I can't wait making another appointment.

I am addicted to cupping. My upper back and neck have been tight as hell for years -- for a long time I did cranial sacral therapy, which is incredibly gentle work: people have to study for years to learn to put less than the weight of a nickel on the other person's neck. Cupping? Amber puts a dozen heated suction tubes (a LOT of pressure) on your neck and back and then, once your skin is drawn up into them, moves them around. It sounds impossible, but it's downright pleasant (once you get past the slurping reptile sensation, or learn to like it anyway). I think she is right when she
