MERCURY ANIMAL HOSPITAL, INC. is pleased to offer laser therapy to our patients! We offer Low Level Laser Therapy, commonly known as cold or soft laser therapy. It is a form of phototherapy which involves the application of monochromatic and coherent light to injuries and lesions to stimulate healing.
Our facility is equipped to hospitalize patients for treatment for a short term or for an extended period of time. Critical patients are monitored throughout the day in our well-equipped ICU area. The ICU area is centrally located so that critical patients can be monitored at all times by our licensed veterinary technicians and the veterinarians.
Every patient that comes in for an anesthetic procedure must be evaluated before administering anesthesia (via patient history and physical examination). This is vital because it may clue us to a potential problem that may not be recognizable through laboratory test. Anesthetic protocols may vary based on the patient's age, physical condition, internal organ conditions and length/type of procedure.

I dropped my 6 y/o GSD off to get an ear hematoma drained at 7am on 11/23. I was quoted just under $800. I signed papers asking that they call me before doing additional procedures. I was told she would probably be ready by 4pm. I had not gotten a phone call by the time I got off work, so I called around 330pm. I was told that they were working on my dog now, and she should be ready by 445pm (why was she just now being worked on?) I showed up at 445pm and called, eventually the tech I spoke to came out and said when I called they were actually checking on my dog. She had been operated on around

I recently stopped taking my 4-year-old American Pitbull Terrier to Mercury Animal Hospital after 4.5 years. In the beginning, I enjoyed the services there. However, over the years their customer service seems to have fallen off and they seem more focused on making money than the best interest of the pets.
One thing I found unsettling was pertaining to getting prescriptions filled. They have an in-house pharmacy, but I would sometimes order a prescription from Chewy for my pet because it would be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. Medication that I used to pay $94 at Mercury Animal Hospital, I would be able

Vet service was fine here. Everything was dealt out of the parking lot, understandable given the covid situation.
I am particularly upset about his boarding experience, as he was much more stressed than usual from past experiences elsewhere.
I went to Alaska to visit folks and boarded my boy, a 9lb terrier mix rescue here. Ordered the vaccination updates and a groom. Groom was never done, and he smelled terrible.
I was told ther was a mix up. To add insult to injury, my poor guy has been chomping on grass like crazy and drank nearly an entire bottle of water, obviously dehydrated.

This morning my mom took our dog to the vet because he was sick throwing up and had diarrhea and the receptionist said you need an appointment and it's wasn't anyone there all they were doing is standing around talking. We've taken all of our dog to Dr McKelvin and have never experienced this before. I think it's very unprofessional for your front desk staff to try and turn someone away because they don't have an appointment and there pet was sick and you wasn't doing anything to begin with.

What a great experience for my baby Thunder (standard poodle) and myself! We were treated very well by the staff here and Dr. Mckelvin was a great vet that answered a lot of my questions. He also did a thorough exam of my new baby and was reaffirming and kind - giving us great information and feedback on Thunder's next couple of months. I really appreciate Jennifer the assistant as well, my puppy really loved her! This is a great clinic and you can tell the staff is well-experienced.
This clinic is also clean and setting appointments is very easy. I was serviced in a timely manner and checking

Since I moved in the area in September I've taken my pups here. Service is always great and everyone is helpful. During all my crazy dog mom moments where I'm paranoid about my dog's health, they're one phone call away and always ready to answer questions.
Dr. McKelvin is the best and he will answer any and all questions when you're there for a visit. They always give you estimates on how much things will cost before doing the treatments needed, which is great for me.
I even take my dogs there for grooming and for the price I pay (which is a steal) they do an amazing

I'm an overwhelming, overprotective, smothering, loving "mom" when it comes to my furry kids. I had tried two other local vets before coming to Mercury Animal Hospital.
I went to Mercury Animal Hospital and I fell in love with the doctors. I waited longer than I would have liked the first time (just one time thing so far) but honestly, it was worth the wait. My Aussie puppy was having stool issues (too loose and mucus covered), the vet (Dr. Nicole) did a fecal test on her own without charging me. She suspected that he had Coccidiosis even though his last fecal exam was negative
