Services
Jenkins Auto Repair Professionals in Greenfield Indiana knows your vehicle is one of your largest investments. We believe you can MAXIMIZE YOUR VEHICLE'S LIFE AND PERFORMANCE. Whether it's time for a 30,000, - 60,000 or 90,000 mile service, we can handle any and all preventive maintenance and automotive repairs required.
Check the owner's manual to see if your driving habits are considered to be "severe service." This type of driving requires more frequent oil changes, warns the Car Care Council. Have the oil changed accordingly, usually every 3-5,000 miles. For less wear and tear on the engine, drivers in cold climates (sub-zero driving temperatures) should drop their oil weight from 10-W30 to 5-W30.
Your car should receive a tune-up (often referred to as a "major service") every two years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. During this tune-up your car will receive some new parts that will hopefully keep it out of the shop for a while. Here's what needs to be done. Change the spark plugs (unless they're platinum, in which case you have 30,000 more miles to go).
There are many harmful contaminants in and around your vehicle every day. Most newer vehicles have a Cabin Filter that filters these contaminants in the air you breathe when in your vehicle. Make sure you replace this filter as recommended by the manufacturer, normally once a year. Sound familiar? Your oil is not the only fluid you should maintain or change.
Since you purchased your new vehicle, dirt, varnishes and carbon deposits have been forming on the fuel injectors, valves, combustion chamber, throttle housing and the air induction intake. These build ups can rob your vehicle of performance, and if left untreated, these build ups can lead to costly repairs.

My mom used Jenkins Auto Repair for several years. She really liked Phil, the owner, and was confident in the work they did.
Personally I only had a couple interactions with them when I would take her car in for her.
If I wasn't so far away I would continue to take mom's car to them even though it's my car now. I really appreciated being able to pick up several years worth of maintenance and repair records so we know for sure what all was done to keep my good little car on the road.
If you are looking for a shop my Momma would totally suggest Jenkins.... from heaven even.

My fam has been using Phil, Kim and auto crew for 4.5 years. We began because they were close by and continued because of the manner they take care of “Penny” (the Pilot) and our fam, shuttling (and sometimes car seats) us to and fro. Car care is done well and if something isn’t done well enough they will do it again better. Thanks, y’all!

All of the staff and repair professionals were extremely friendly and helpful in helping to determine issues with my car and getting it fixed up quickly. This welcoming and friendly attitude is a stark contrast to some auto repair places I’ve visited in the past and I will absolutely return to Jenkins when and if I need car repairs done in the future.

Critical: Value
I sent my car here because I trusted them, but after two weeks nothing had been accomplished. I decided to have it sent to Dellen, who is able to fix it for $1300, and Jenkins still charged me $1700 for making the situation worse. I will never go here again, and I would advise you to stay away. Bad business.

Great service AND customer service!!! I was broken down at night with a backseat full of groceries, and they sent someone to help me. Sleet and high winds, and the guy told me he would stay with me until I was safe. And he certainly did!!! Thank you, thank you!!

Great customer service! Had my 99 Ford ranger in about a week ago and due to COVID the shop was short handed, so it took a couple days to get my truck back. But, they did great work and I was happy with the customer service. Even followed up a with thank you card in the mail. Not to many mechanic shops treat ya right but they sure did!!! My Daughter has always had good things to say about Jenkins, So when I had trouble with a used car I had recently bought, I thought id give them a try. I'm glad I did, they did a repair on the exhaust. Everyone I spoke to was very nice & made sure that I understood what was going on. They got to my car in a timely matter & did the repair, I couldn't be happier with their work. I plan on taking it back soon to have my brakes looked at.

Took my f150 in to have a service done and some other routine maintenance, chris took the time to look over my truck explain everything to me, but not only that while I am not a mechanic, he took the time to explain everything in a way that I could understand it. He also took the time to educate me on my truck and the eco boost system. The price… was very fair. Terry was great as well breaking down the cost. Showing me why when and how. The girl up front Kimberly I believe her name is amazing customer service joy to deal with and did a great job on my truck. Ty jenkins automotive you al

I've been using Jenkins for a few years now, never had a problem. I love and trust them very much. Our cars are important, and it's important that everything is working properly, I need to feel safe when driving my kids around. And I know all work done by Jenkins is certified, trusted, done the right way, and is guaranteed with lifetime warranty on parts. ( If I read that right).. I used to bring my older vehicle here, and the price was very reasonable. Now I have a newer one and the ticket was a little bit higher this time, but was to be expected for the vehicle I had serviced.. they make me feel

I had a intermittent problem on 2011 Ford F-150. Sometimes the "P" light would not come on and it then would not start. Got a P0707 code from my OBDII code reader. That is a lower than expected signal from the Transmission position sensor. I used to get this problem about once per week. When it happened twice the same morning on my way to work and left me stranded at I-70 and State Rd. 9, I called around asking if they could get to it that day. Jenkins was the first one to say yes, they could look at it that day and get back to me. This is owned by the company I work for. I had no way to go to

I took my vehicle in for a scheduled oil change. I was contacted and informed I needed a “center tie rod” changed and the repair would cost $1200. We chose to not have the issue fixed by Jenkins and took the vehicle to a Toyota dealer two days later for a second opinion. I informed the Toyota certified mechanic what the diagnosis from Jenkins was prior to them looking at the vehicle. The dealer took the vehicle for a test drive and did a 62 point inspection. They found NO PROBLEMS with my vehicle. The dealer did suggest getting tires before the winter. If you are told you need a large repair

Had been dealing with AC issues for weeks while temps were in the high 80s with high humidity. The dealer I had gotten the vehicle from had looked at it and said it was fixed but it definitely wasn’t. Since I’m leaving for Dauphin Island - I wanted the AC working so I called Jenkins. I called at 8:05, dropped it off at 8:30, and by the end of the… day they had discovered that the previous dealership had overfilled the AC (which that dealership claimed to have double and triple checked). Phil and Meagan were awesome with communication and the price was way better than I expected

I called around to a few other auto repair shops and nobody had the time for me. Everyone was saying that they were booked up solid for at least a week to a week and a half. But when I called Jenkins auto repair and spoke to Megan she told me that they could work me in. They have extremely good customer service. she offered to drive me home. But… when I told her I was already at work she came and got my car from me at my job so I did not have to leave. And before they did any work Phil called me and told me what they were going to be doing and wanted to touch bases with me and talk over
