I genuinely love this place. European cuisine is always a good go to for me, but this place is especially good. The service, food, and environment is amazing and always has been. I’ve been coming here for years and never had a meal I didn’t love. One of the waiters, Andrew, was also incredibly friendly and hospitable as well as the rest of the staff. Highly recommend this place.

One of my favorites!! The food is great- but what makes it even better is the service- we always ask for Manuel- always great recommendations and makes sure everything comes out perfectly everytime! Highly recommend & make sure Manuel takes care of you!

I went there today, I had Mr. Manuel as my waited and he was fantastic! The Portuguese steak was to die for and the wine was amazing. The doversal was cleaned very well and boned to a t. The shrimp appetizers were the best I’ve had yet! Best service and food I’ve had in a very long time. Recommend 100%!

So my review is in the middle for the restaurant itself. While it is a Portuguese restaurant or at least that what came up when we searched they did not have the staples of good Portuguese dining. Don't get me wrong the food was great, just not.as authentic as I would like and with a Portuguese wife it is important to find just the right place.
The place is quite a bit outdated. The doorway and walkways are very tight. Looking around the customers all seemed to be much older. Only one table besides ours that had anyone under 70, or so it seemed.
That being said I have to give the waiter Andrew

Everything was brilliant. Wife and I had stuffed mushrooms, escargot, French onion soup, split pea soup, chicken Marsala, nova Europa scallops with rice. All were close to perfect.
Highlights: Sauce on the scallops, homemade split pea soup, Portuguese salad dressing.
Andrew, our server, treated us right and made us feel like we were special.
This is now our new “go-to” in the Kensington area.

Old fashioned place from the 70s, the food was bland, ordered ravioli in tomato sauce. The sauce was reddish substance with chunks of sauted onions, no herbs or spices. The service was great, this seems to be the only explanation why this place has such great ratings.

I been twice and both times I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Both of my servers Andrews and Manuel were extraordinary and impressionable. I loved the recommendations for wine and the Portuguese Red I highly recommend. The food was amazing and the presentation was impeccable. I truly felt like family and will be returning soon. Thank you so much for one of the best restaurant experiences in MD.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, in my opinion. I just got finished eating here with my daughter and grandmother and our server Andrew, was amazing. He was quick, entertaining and fast. The food was fantastic and came out in a timely manner. I will be coming back to this place and suggest other people to check it out. Best of all, it’s woman-owned. 😁

We came here of a Friday evening to celebrate the sale of a rental property. We sat outdoors under the overhang roof, were blessed with a balmy evening - no heater necessary. And we spent a good 2 hours dining and drinking their wine.
Food here is wonderful - European, leaning toward Portuguese. Seafood is the best on a strong menu. And service is great, and friendly even when they are stretched. Prices are good, and the wines are not overpriced, starting in the $20s for a bottle, $25 for a carafe.
We dine here 2-3x a year - a lot for us - and we have never been disappointed. For classy neighborhood

Atmosphere was amazing, the food both looks and tastes good. Everything came out quickly and was hot and the price was worth the quality. Our waiter Andrew made the experience even more enjoyable, very funny and a good server.
