The North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) was formed in 1978 by the leadership of community health centers. NCCHCA is comprised of membership from 42 Community Health Center organizations. NCCHCA is singularly focused on the success of health centers. NCCHCA is the HRSA funded state Primary Care Association (PCA).

Services
The North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) was formed in 1978 by the leadership of community health centers, NCCHCA is comprised of membership from 39 health center grantees (including one migrant voucher program) and 3 Look-Alike organizations. NCCHCA is singularly focused on the success of health centers.
NCCHCA is the HRSA funded state Primary Care Association (PCA). The non-profit, consumer-governed Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) we represent provide integrated medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and enabling services to nearly one-half million patients in North Carolina. FQHCs receive federal assistance to provide sliding-fee services to assure no one is denied access to care.
The North Carolina Community Health Association Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) provides shared services and strategic sourcing solutions for North Carolina's health centers. The GPO leverages community health center purchasing power to generate maximum savings for members. Individual community health centers and lookalike organizations may enroll as GPO members and utilize the Association's group purchasing program as a free benefit.
Community Health Ventures, or CHV, is the business development affiliate of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC.) CHV's Group Purchasing Program actively supports the NCCHCA Group Purchasing Organization and assists in contracting, vendor selection, and support.

Comprised of designees from each community health center to lead activation and expansion of a grassroots advocacy network within their organization. Members of this workgroup receive coordinated training, briefings and background on emerging state and federal issues.
They also participate in advocacy efforts to generate media and community awareness, and mobilize forces to respond to Action Alerts and other coordinated Calls to Action related to issues of importance to community health centers and their patients.
