I worked there as a Nurse today. What an awesome experience. I could tell there has been some changes made. The Med Pass was doable and I just enjoyed the experience. Not to mention I constantly bugged this guy all day asking questions and kindly answered, went above and beyond to help me, then at the end of the day come to find out he was the administrator. I felt terrible, but that’s what I call a team player and I could tell, He was there for the Residence, and it wasn’t just a job. I would return In a heartbeat. Greatful for today’s experience❤️

Do not use this facility if you have any other option. The help and staff leaves a lot to be desired. The food is awful.
I say this from experience. I am. Presently a resident here and would leave if I could but I have nowhere to go. This is the case with a lot of us. Our children dont want us or dont have room for us or say they can't take care of us etc.
The administration does not
Take responsibility for our complaints and does nothing about them except try to placate us.

Hi my name is Marcy 😊 My mom had spent about 9 years at this facility. I knew nothing about homes When I came to Oakwood. I was taken through every step , Shown rooms and the cafeteria . I was shown all the activities
They offered. The personel are the most professional group , loving , caring group of people. From Sam in administration and Charlene and Brandy. And I can not forget the kind man Larry who works the front greeting desk and knows the home like the back of his hand. The pandemic was so hard on all of us . Oakwood didnt miss a beat. Debbie who made sure we would Video atleast 2

That place isn't worth 1 star‼

The worse place to send your love one to. I phoned them before my brother who is a quadriplegic was sent there. I explained everything that he would need. They assured me that they were equipped to handle him. When he got there. They were unable to take care of him at all. They were rude and just wanted to put him in a diaper which would of killed him!

Very disappointed to witness very disrespectful staff talking loudly at the back of dining area while residents were trying to watch a movie. Residents two different times asked them to be quieter as they couldn’t hear movie. One of the staff just said, very disrespectfully, “We’re staff”. I was supposed to have a visit with my mother in there but chose to go outside to get away from them being so loud without any regards to others around them.

My loved one was there for a month and the care was sub par. The physical therapy part was great but the majority of the staff really didn't care for the patients. They do have staff members that went over and beyond the call of duty but the others were a nightmare. When you place your food order you never got what you asked for and if you had dietary restrictions they still brought you what you couldn't eat. The overnight staff didn't check on patients even when their call lights were on and they resorted to calling out for help, but you could hear them at the desk talking and laughing. There

I absolutely believe this is the place to be. The staff is good and friendly. They have a concierge who address your needs and make sure your stay is comfortable. Oakwood has nursing staff who care and administration who listens. I never seen an activities department who has live entertainment weekly and the residents enjoy it. The residents are up and out of bed daily. I would place any of my loved ones at Oakwood.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Oakwood. My 98 year old aunt has been a patient at the facility since December 2014 and I have visited, on average, once a week ever since.
From the reception desk to the admissions and financial offices and throughout the facility, I have always been treated with kindness and respect.
The nurses and aides in the A wing particularly, have exhibited skill and shown attentiveness to my aunt's needs, promptly informing me of any occurrences, about which I would want or need to know. Also, the staff holds regular patient conferences to keep me updated as

This place is a disgrace. My aunt is currently in this "Rehabilitation" center and has been there since March. In that period she has not gotten any better. The staff does not check in on her regularly, she fell out of bed and they have almost dropped her when trying to move her. We would not have been notified of any of this information if it wasn't for her kind neighbor who has been keeping an eye on her. Whenever we call for any information on her or ask any of the nurses about her progress or what can be done to help, the most common response is "I don't know. I wasn
