You do not want cheap. A cheap inspection could be the most expensive and disappointing thing you'll ever buy; it can cost you thousands of dollars down the road because of missed or overlooked defects. Cheap home inspectors often know less and do less, which is one reason why they are cheap.
Home Inspectors should present the customer with a clearly written, typed or printed home inspection report, which must conform to the accepted standards of practice for the state the inspection is performed in or the standards of practice of the association that the home inspector belongs to.

During more than 12 years as a home inspector I have seen and heard clients say many things. I have been in fine homes and in distressed homes and I have heard everything from quiet whispers to loud cries from my clients. I am not referring to deficiencies in homes, but subtle and some not so subtle observations of the buyers.
A home inspection is an important step in the home buying process. Professionally trained home inspectors assist in maintaining the health of your home and a property inspection makes home maintenance easy by catching minor problems before they become big projects. In just a few hours you'll have a detailed report of the condition of your home so that you can plan for needed repairs and upgrades when it's time to make them.
With respect to your performance as a home inspector, I cannot speak highly enough about your work. Most of all, I appreciated you taking the time to explain to me the 'trouble spots' that you noted throughout the house. This allowed me to understand what exactly were the issues with the house. Your report was very well composed, breaking down the items in detail and explaining necessary action to be taken was very helpful.
Radon comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water. The release of this radioactive gas enters the air you breathe, causing a potential health risk to you and your family. Radon gas can be found in just about anywhere. It can get into any type of building -- homes, offices, and schools -- and build up to high levels.

We had an inspection done today at our new place and Joe was there to great us and go over what he was going to do. Joe was very thorough going though the house making sure it was up to code and ready for us to move in.
Joe was also very helpful explaining how things work and what steps we might need to take in the future for our home.
Thank you Joe for your hard work!!
