I was raised in Loomis, California, the son of the local, well-respected dentist. I literally grew up with a background in dentistry. After receiving my dental degree from Creighton University and serving as a decorated officer in the United States Army, I returned to beautiful Loomis where I have been practicing aesthetic and comprehensive dentistry since 1991.

I highly recommend this dental office. Dr Barry leads the staff by example. You can tell the staff love working for him. It is very clean. The workers take time to get to know you. The dentist is usually not a place people like to go to but I don’t feel that way about this place. I’ve had bad experiences at other places, this isn’t one of those place. You are treated like family

My first appointment with Dr. Mercer was exceptional. The staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. I have never seen a better run office. Dr. Mercer was warm and very personable. I felt very comfortable and like I was an important patient the entire time I was there. I am looking forward to a long relationship with this office and Dr. Mercer.

I’m new to town and was looking for a dentist. I was referred to Dr. Mercer by a relative and couldn’t be happier! The office is clean and welcoming! The staff is professional, friendly and courteous! Dr. Mercer has excellent bedside manners and explains everything very well! I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

My time with Dr. Mercer and his fantastic team of professionals began with warm greetings from staff as I entered each room. The new patient tour was very informational and made the place feel like home. During the exam, Dr. Mercer and his assistants, made me feel very comfortable by briefing me before every move and engaging in small talk. The exam went very smooth. The cleaning with the hygienists left my teeth feeling sparkling clean. I had a first class experience with the whole team.

We have been going Doctor Mercer for over 30 years. He is very caring and gentle with all of the procedures he performs.also extremely knowledgeable. Everyone in the office is friendly and personable. We love our hygienist Leann. We love him and his office staff and would recommend anyone and everyone to have him as your dentist.

I visited Dr. Mercer's office for the first time yesterday and it was easily my best experience going to the dentist in recent memory. A few things that made the visit memorable:
- All of the staff was warm, welcoming and professional
- I had a couple extra questions for Dr. Mercer and he spent quite a bit of time with me, answering those questions and making sure I felt confident in our path forward. (in past experiences, I usually see the dentist themselves for about 2 minutes). At no point did I feel like the appointment was rushed
- My appointment was at 7am which allowed me to be on time
- All of the staff was warm, welcoming and professional
