The service is horrible I placed an order more than once from this establishment and when I got my full purchase it was not exactly as I ordered the waitresses are rude and discourteous and have the audacity to expect a tip I say tip yourself somewhere else there other food establishments in the area greasy food overpriced and bad manners horrible mix. I'm tired of spending my money in places where the food is either cold or very greasy. We kept this place on the map and can't get a discount the new waitress is blonde and clueless my coworker got hair in her bag. They don't even

If you're looking for delicious, affordable diner food, this is the place to go!
Service was friendly & friendly and unlike so many other places in West Loop, we didn't have to wait to be seated even on a Saturday.
The food came out fast and was very good - not overly greasy like a lot of other diners' food!
We had the steak skillet (so good!) which uses hash browns as the base and I'm all about it and we had Nutella banana French toast (great way to end the meal!).
Bonus perks: nice patio & free parking!

I loved that this restaurant is conveniently located about five minutes from Rush hospital (since we were there for a check-up and wanted to find a breakfast spot nearby). It was nice that the restaurant has a free parking lot behind it, so that parking is easy. We were immediately seated. Service was quick. The food was great. Super reasonable prices. Management checked in on us. Definitely would return.

Oh where should I start? The first time I went here I thought it was some random breakfast place that serves regular American Style breakfast food, indeed I was EXTREMELY wrong.
The food was always cooked to perfect, even somethings like the corn beef hash that other places make it extremely salty, Palace Grill makes it PERFECTLY with it being just the right amount of salt.
The Patty Melt is absolutely wonderful, and the fries are so underrated! The fries are thick, hot and fresh. The Patty melt is wonderful, juicy, and PERFECT!
You always should come here and try something new everytime, ALWAYS

Such a cute little spot! Some of the best pancakes I have EVER eaten! The waitress and waiter were the nicest people in Chicago! The cooks were also so very nice! Their skillets are also so good! Go with an empty stomach because you will get full so quickly! So much food! Def give this place a try! You will not regret it!!

All positives at this grill. Very nice breakfast menu along with standard grill fare for lunch. Ample portions, great grill good. Nice shaded outdoor patio seating. Free off street parking...and more. Best of all is the very friendly and accommodating staff and a visit from the owner to assure all is well. Tip of the hat to Jacqueline (sorry if misspelled) for super friendly service.

Jimi digs the cool, old school diner vibe of the Palace Grill. Sit at the counter and watch the cooks put on a Benihana like performance preparing orders. Hope they are compensated well. Got the Porky omelete. Not the first time Jimi's been called Porky. Great place to take a girl who loves eating breakfast food in the morning. Weird time to eat if you ask Jimi but what do I know. Cash only! Not a problem for Jimi

A home away from home.
Nothing beats a mom-and-pop shop with southern hospitality! My server was amazing. I didn't get her name but I came here two days in a row and she remembered me and already brought my hot sauce once I sat down.
I got to meet George! The sweetest most humble guy! Welcomed me with open arms and really knows how to make people feel at home. I happened to walk up to the cash register to purchase a jar of peppers and as I was standing there he was yelling thank you to the staff and telling them they're doing a great job. This warmed my heart. I can tell he treats

A local staple, Palace Grill Restaurant a Chicago place to wear your hockey jersey. Love the Farmers Skillet, little bit of all the meats making a greasy breakfast meals. The owner is normally greeting people. Servers are great, super busy and helpful. Apparently they cater I got the message about that. Maybe one day I’ll get a cater order from Palace Grill a place to wear your hockey jerseys. Can’t wait to come back in my next Chicago visit.

Experience: Palace is located right across the Office of Emergency Management Center and other businesses. Staff is really friendly and was quickly seated and served. Even the manager, maybe owner, was walking around ensuring everyone was being taken care of. The ambience was really cool with all the Blackhawk memorabilia.
Parking: There seems to be a parking lot attached to the business. If full, there is also paid street parking surrounding the restaurant.
Worth: Definitely worth the visit. Food was good (I had the Chorizo Omelette as pictured). Staff was awesome. Restaurant decor was cool

Absolutely love this place for breakfast and lunch. Reminiscent of a bygone era the food is comfort food and it is delicious. The servings are large and many of the customers are large as well. I call it the joint with big guys eat, I am 6'2_ 240 lbs, and several of the men were larger. Have a hockey team with some nice jerseys hanging and the location is down the street from the United center. I recommend this as a place to stop if you're on the west side of Chicago
