The system is very complex and in instances where the electronic-control system can't correct an issue, the computer illuminates the yellow "Check Engine", "Service Engine Soon" or "Check Power train" light (sometimes it's a simple engine picture).The OBD II system then stores a "trouble code" in its memory that categorizes the source of the problem, such as a malfunctioning sensor or a misfiring engine.

Outstanding repair place. It was recommended to me by a local auto body repair place. The recommendation was: "Whatever Coffman's says, they're being truthful". So I went, started with small jobs. They went well, then worked up to a major repair. All jobs were performed with the utmost in skill and attention to detail. Honored their estimates. I drive 20 minutes to get to Coffman's, and by-pass plenty of other repair places. Maybe the the best general repair facility in the area. If you can skip the dealership and go there, I suggest doing it. They get very busy

I love this place, my entire family takes their cars here. they are good priced and are not looking to trick you into spending more money than you need to. they are super super accomodating and do awesome work! i could seriously not recommend them enough, i tell everyone i know around their location to go to them when they have car troubles.

Been a customer for a little over 30 years. I could count the number of bad experiences with these guys on one hand...four fingers and a thumb left. yup...zero problems. father and sons have bailed me out of numerous jams.

I was referred to Coffman's by a friend. They are the last true honest mechanics alive. Best work, best prices. I had a 94 Toyota that they helped me keep on the road until i bought a new car. Now that I own it and Nissan warranty's are expired I'll be back here. They are really a stand up business!

This is a 2nd generation business. They have been at this location for 40 years. The father has retired and his son and the experienced mechanics are still there and they are always loaded with work. They have done various things for me and did so in a timely manner and at reasonable price. They prefer to use name brand or OE parts to insure the job stays done. They do offer cheaper options but consider what is riding in your car ( yourself and/or family ) before using them. Over all a very honest shop and that is why they are always busy.
