Unfortunately, we will still be closed today (2/18 - Thursday), until further notice. As we arrived to the restaurant this morning and to start preparing for the day, we walked into a flooded kitchen. We had a water line break and are unable to open until it is repaired. Extra large quesadilla with choice of beef, chicken or combo fajita, served with two scoops of guacamole, sour cream, and queso.
Enough to share! Choice of ground beef or refried bean burrito, served with Mexican rice and refried beans. Topped with queso. Choice of soft or crispy taco, stuffed with ground beef, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese; served with Mexican rice and refried beans. The Jaimes family has been serving delicious family recipes to Waco customers for almost 20 years.

Visiting family and just wanted nice little family dinner for 3 ppl, and I was craving Mexican food. As Waco locals, my mom and stepdad recommended this restaurant. I normally don't eat dinner at 5:30PM...but was in the company of a 75 & 83 year old.
Surprisingly, the place was already hopping. The service was friendly. And the waitress mentioned she was training a new staff member. Like many restaurants in Waco there was a "help wanted" sign positioned prominently out front.

The food was good probably one of the more better tasting Mexican food i have tastedfrom the ones I've been to service was fast and good the waitress was nice and very helpful and did her job very good nice quite place to have a good dinner date or just out with the family well go back to try other stuff on the menu

First time to attend this restaurant, the best and every way. Parking, prices, food, atmosphere, and a beautiful place to enjoy your meal. She like Mexican food I suggest you try this restaurant you will keep coming back. I gave a five-star because everything about the restaurant was an absolute enjoyable place to dine.

Was visiting my sister at Waco and wanted some Mexican food. This is definitely Tex-Mex but we knew what we were getting into. The restaurant seemed to be very understaffed and we actually saw/heard the manager yell at the server on the floor in front of tables. Made us uncomfortable. The food was good, my sister and I loved the salsa, but just wish the manager acted a bit more professionally on the floor and handled his stress and frustrations with his staff in the back.

This restaurant is delicious! I live in the Dallas area and wish this restaurant was there so I could eat it often!! The inside was clean and bright with beautiful decor. Most importantly the food was amazing. I had the fundido with chicken fajita and it was so delicious. The salsa was fresh with Cilantro and had an amazing flavor!

The food was amazing. We had a combo fajita and a avocado chicken salad. The meat was tender and juicy. The species we’re about the right amount. Their salsa was delicious, a little bit runny but delicious.
The only issue with this restaurant is that they charge a $2 fee for paying with card, no matter if it credit or debit. And, nobody tells you that before and there is no signs about it.

Absolutely wonderful service and great food!!
Our server was Mike and he was literally exceptional ! He was wonderful and made our experience that much more wonderful! We got the Carne Asada & of course a TOPSHELF MARGARITA !! - it was ALL fantastic, tasty and perfectly cooked, and the beans were very tasty topped with just a tad of shredded blend of cheese. It was just wonderful ! Thank you so much !

On Friday evening, April 23, my family and I went to Abuelita's on Valley Mills. I had chicken tacos, my husband had chicken enchiladas, and our daughter had a taco salad with ground beef. As we were leaving, I remarked to my husband that I had a bad taste in my mouth. Later that night, I developed severe diarrhea--it was clear I had food poisoning. My husband also felt queasy all night but never got sick.
On Saturday morning after having diarrhea at least ten times during the night, I fainted in the bathroom and hit my head hard on the tile floor, knocking myself completely unconscious

We totally enjoyed our food! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Chips and salsa were good. My husband and had the chicken enchilada suizas, my daughter had the beef quesadilla and I had the shrimp wrapped in bacon (I forgot the actual name). If you're in Waco and want delicious Mexican food, then this is a must!!

BEST Mexican food in Waco. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Food always comes out quickly. Don't miss the queso! The smoky refried beans are divine and the rice is perfect. Tacos and cheese enchiladas are delicious. Not sure what a previous reviewer meant by saying the decor is dated, but the restaurant is lovely and spacious.

I ordered the fajita plate. Chicken was dry, beef wasn't as seasoned as I would've liked. Salsa wasn't spicy even though I asked for their spiciest. Chips were excellent as were the tortillas.
Service was outstanding. Waitress was very warm & attentive. Not too many people when I went to the restaurant around 230p.
I've heard the margaritas are great but I didn't have any.

I ate here with my family the other night. The restaurant is large and was easily able to accommodate my party of 7. Unfortunately they did not have a sling and the baby was sleeping so I didn't want to wake him to put him in a high chair so we had to flip a high chair to put his car seat in. I hate doing this. It isn't very safe, but it is all they had. Unfortunately the hostess was kind of rude. She took me to the table. Then she got the high chair and she sort of left it in the vicinity of the table.
